Perfect choice!. I have recently moved to the city from Connecticut and have been getting my brazilian with the same person for six years. I needed to find a good but cheap, place in the city. I have found my spot! For around $35, you cant go wrong here.

Great quality affordable prices. I found this place through citysearch and was surprised at the quality of their service considering the affordability. I made an appointment on friday afternoon for the evening and despite the rush they managed to fit me in. My aesthetician was Lena and she did an unbeleivably relaxing facial and a neat eyebrow wax. If you're looking for a conveniently located city salon with anything but "city" prices" I highly recommend this place.

The way it should be. I found this place just from looking on CitySearch and Yelp for a good, cheap Brazilian. The first time I went I called about an hour before I wanted to go, and they were able to squeeze me in, though I (obviously because it was so last minute) didn't get to request an aesthetician. I had Ivy (?) and she was fine, though she didn't do the greatest job. I decided to come back, though, because of the price (only $30!!!!) which is nearly impossible to find in the city.

The next time I came back I had Natasha, and she was great! She spent a ton of time being really thorough, and she took extra time to get rid of a couple of ingrowns that had been bothering me.

The only real issue I have with this place is that they use this huge tub of wax instead of heating up new wax for each client. I am not much of a germaphobe, but this even skeeves me out a little bit. They also aren't the greatest at getting the excess wax off of you before turning you loose, so in the 4 times I have been there, I have walked out of 3 visits with sticky inner thighs.

All in all, though, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. If you get Natasha or Angela, you're sure to get a very thorough Brazilian, and it's really cheap compared to the rest of the city. My only recommendation to them would be to invest a little bit in some better sanitary practices - but only if it doesn't affect the cost of the wax ;)

Friendly, fast, and affordable!. I started going to Irene here recently and I just love the place. She and the rest of the staff are so nice, the place is clean, they do a great job, and the price can't be beat. Additionally, it's right by my job and a great Cuban place, so I can pop out, grab lunch, and get back to my desk in no time!

Amazing place!. I have gone to this place for about 6 months now. Alla makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed (not easy with that treatment!). I have loved going to her. She's pleasant, patient, gives good advice, and the best part!... she's so fast AND thorough. The place is so clean, friendly, and I don't think many other day spas... especially one this nice... can beat the prices. I would recommend it to all of my friends and every woman who wants to have a great experience.

great waxing, even better price!. I went to this place for a brazilian wax based on the excellent reviews I had read online - and was pleasantly surprised!!! I have been to MANY upscale salons as I have very sensitive skin and J'amie was just as good - if not better - for less than half the price! I saw Irena and she was so nice, not to mention did a great / thorough job in a short amount of time. The place was very clean & nice inside, I would have never guessed how inexpensive it was!

Best Brazillian. Ive been going here for almost 2 years now. I swear by their Brazillian wax. Not only do they do a quick and clean job but their waxing is almost painless. I have been going to Lina this whole time and am certain that shes the best. I have gone to several other girls there when she wasn't available and figured out she was the best. Now all my friends go here. Enjoy!

Best Facials. Lena gives the absolute best facials in Manhattan. A 45 minute facial is better than an hour full body massage- it is incredibly relaxing and the results are unbelievable. I go once a month and after just a few sessions I started to see a difference in my skin. Make sure to ask for Lena!!

Disastrous Eyebrow Wax. I've been there a few times and there's always a mildly rude receptionist and I'm always kept waiting for a good 10-30 minutes beyond my appointment time. I've kept going back because it's in a convenient spot for me. Today was the last time. I received a disastrous eyebrow wax from Olga. I asked her to keep them thicker but she turned them into thin strips on my forehead. She clearly messed one of them up, as it has a significant bald spot towards the end, so she was forced to shape brows so that they culminate as thin slivers at the end. Hideous! At the end, she hid her mistake by neglecting to hold up a hand mirror.
