“The pitas are very good and so are the prices!”
What are universally regarded as the city's best falafel is served at all the locations of this popular Israeli chain. Why are they so good? Honestly, nobody knows. They are just just fresher and crunchier and more vivid, with better white sauce, than their rivals.
Fantastic falafel!. This place is really a gem. It's real small but packed with people wanting some falafel. Fresh ingredients and a nice selection of sandwiches. If you like falafel, this place is a must eat.
can a sandwich be a genius?. the only problem with this place is choosing between the hummus sandwich and the green falafel sandwich. chewy pita, incredible sides (love the cabbage and beets), just a great fresh incredible affordable lunch spot. i eat it like 3x a week seriously.
Fresh food every time!.
Fresh ingredient, savory Falafel, splendid sauce. One of the best pocket sandwich I ever had.
Smoothie selection is strange, talking about the ingredients combination of the smoothie, but very refreshing.
Definitely worth to try!!
Best falafels and at a great price.. This is, hands down, my favorite falafel place. Srsly. I've been to the Middle East and this place stands up to any I found there. It's also pretty affordable (well, for Manhattan anyway haha)
Awesome Falafel in West Village.
I am not Vegetarian nor am I ever eager to try Vegetarian dishes but when I had my Falafel sandwich here at Taim, I was totally convinced that Vegetarian food can be delicious too!
My boyfriend got the Falafel platter that contains 3 flavors of Falafel, hummus, tabuli, and some salad. It was utterly amazing. I myself ordered the Falafel (mildly spicy flavor) sandwich and it was so good! It is fried to crispy yet not greasy. They gave you plenty of tahini sauce and their Israeli pickles.
I also got their home-made Pomegranate ice tea and it is so refreshing and fresh.
The only bad thing about this place is there is a very limited seating area.
Best Falafel in New York. My friends and I were obsessed with falafel in college, and we've been desperately searching for a place as good as our university spot. It's been three years and I still hadn't found anything nearly as good until Taim. It's amazing! Servings are a great size and while the space is super tiny, everyone is so happy to eat that it promotes a rare friendly comraderie for New Yorkers. The traditional falafel is wonderful and the hummus doesn't overpower in the sandwich. The french fries are hot, greasy, and salty just the way I like and the saffron aoli is addictive. I'm sure I'll be there all the time this summer!
good falafel, bad attitude. i admit the falafel is tasty and the salads are fresh...but sometimes the staff gives attitude like "we know our falafel is good". and it's good, but not THAT good.
All around great food.. Taim has really great falafels and hummus and the portions are quite generous. Their salads are great (and varied) and they have french fries when you feel the need for some grease (b/c the falafels are greasy at all). The pitas are very good and so are the prices! The staff is really nice. There really isn't a lot of room to sit, or wait for a to go order, but when it's nice out, there are seats outside. I haven't had their smoothies, but my friend was pretty happy with hers.
Best falafal in a pita anywhere!. There falafal is extremely flavorful (and actually comes in 3-4 different flavors a day) and it's not greasy at all! The pita is fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. There's just enough hummus, lettuce, and tomatos for a perfect pita!! YUM!!
