AMAZING JOB!... I have been doing Great Lengths extensions on my hair for 4 yrs. When I recently moved to NYC, I didn't have a stylist here and took a chance on citysearch's recommendations and scheduled an appointment with Seiji... HE IS THE BEST!!.. Seiji did my extensions for my wedding...they are fabulous. My hair looked amazing on my wedding day, totally natural and an excellent match to my regular color. They've lasted 3 months...he is really meticulous and nice.

Seiji put in my great lengths extensions and did a fantastic job. The color matched my hair perfectly and I was able to get the extra length and volume that I wanted. I would highly recommend him!

SEIJI, the perfect person to apply great lengths extensions. I've always wanted mermaid hair. Think Alanis Morissette in her "Thank You" video (when did this song even come out? 12 years ago? Since that song, I have been trying to grow my hair waist-length, but my head of it won't have it...basically if my hair were to write a song about growing, it would be titled "No Thank You"..wom wom)...

I have had some experience with hair extensions about ten years ago...first a weave, then I had tried gluing them in myself. Despite my efforts, they never looked natural and their application always left me with an irritated scalp. Fast forward to December 2011 and I decide that I want to go to great lengths..to get some Great Lengths. Being a freelancer with hardly any projects at this point , this may not have been the wisest financial decision, but I was able to save up for it...and honestly, it was worth every penny! First, Seiji is amazing at communication, responds right away and is totally reliable. He takes his time both explaining the process and while physically engaged in the process...and is extremely thorough. After the consultation and booking the appointment, I had misunderstood the total cost. This could have made for an awkward situation but Seiji handled it wonderfully and respectfully..which made me want to move forward even more, as I then knew he was someone I could develop a working relationship with. I wasn't looking to stylist-hop each time I needed extensions removed / applied..I was seeking a professional who I could trust and return to..Seiji is very much this person.

As for the extensions themselves, I still have them in...so it's been almost five months...and they still look full and feel great! Only a few sections started to fall out around month 4. But it has been a slow shedding process and I am hoping most stay put for at least another two months or so. What I love about them is how natural-looking they are..the great lengths hair is from India, so the texture blends in with my coarse, wavy hair. After having them put in, I saw friends/family I hadn't seen in well over 6 months...and NO ONE EVEN SAID ANYTHING! They had assumed that my hair finally grew to the super-long length I always wanted. Even my Mom, ole' Hawk Eye, did not notice it at first. It took her a few hours in my company to start squinting at me and then finally asking.."How'd your hair get so long?!".

So is it an investment? Yes. I am addicted to these extensions? Yes. Would I recommend Seiji and do I plan on returning? Double yes.

Simply the Best!. Seiji is the best when it comes to Great Lengths extensions. I have had GL extensions applied over one dozen times in Boston as well as an UES salon, and none of their works even compares to Seiji. He is great at communicating (at former salons I would call, leave a message for them and followup numerous times after not hearing back, and was still not able to connect with the stylist). Not the case with Seiji- he always gets back to me right away, whether it be a phone call or an email. Most importantly, he does an amazing job of putting the extensions in, and a haircut once the extensions are done. He never disapoints! His assistant/hair washer is also fabulous and very nice. If you're looking to get Great Lengths done, you can trust Seiji.

I absolutely recommend him- 100%!!. I recently moved to NYC and needed to have my extensions re-done and wanted only the superior quality of Great Lengths Hair Extensions. After doing a lot of research, I came across Seiji. I have to say that I was extremely impressed with his professionalism, kindness and skill-sets. He did an amazing job on my hair!! I love it!! I absolutely recommend him- 100%!!

SEIJI - THE BEST Great Lengths professional. I have been getting hair extensions for ten years. About four years ago I discovered Great Lengths and am hooked. I had just moved to the East Coast and hair extensions were not nearly as popular or available as they are on the West coast. I traveled all over the Washington DC area and tried several salons. All of the salons I tried were absolute nightmares at an enormous cost to pay (both time and money). I decided NYC must have at least one Great Lengths expert stylist. After reading reviews I decided Seiji was the stylist for me. I traveled three hours by train for a consultation and Seiji explained his style, pricing and time. The prices are reasonable and what's even better he is a perfectionist with color and application.

I advise that if you are interested in Lengthening /Enhancing your hair flawlessly, and without compromising your hair, you choose Seiji to apply your Great Lengths. If you have to travel - DO IT. Seiji provides the best possible extension service you can invest in. You will walk out with beautiful hair and never go anywhere else after Seiji! Guaranteed Fabulousness!

Best Hair Extension Service. I've been going to See Seiji every 5 months for the past few years. He does the BEST hair extensions I have ever had or have ever seen. I need extensions for fullness and a little length, and I walk away loving what he does! I am so glad that I found him. Everytime I go I KNOW I am in good hands. He takes his time, and does exactly what I want. If you are looking to get hair extensions, look no further than Seiji. Again, I believe and all my friends and family believes his work is the best!

Seiji Uehara Hair Extension & Style. Seiji Uehara does fantastic work. He put Great Lengths extensions in my hair, cut and colored it. I have never been to anyone better than him. I have had Great Lenghts before but nobody has ever done work like his. I was so lucky to find him. I was unhappy with the previous person who did my Great Lengths so I just took a chance and went online and called and made an appointment. I have experience with extensions so I am able to compare. I His prices are so reasonable. it is hard to believe He is very honest. Sometimes with extensions different places try to take advantage of people because they don't know about them. He is not that way. There is not one negative thing I can say. Since he has been doing my extensions I had gotten so many compliments. The salon is very nice and relaxing and convenient to get to.

If you are ever considering extensions or anything else he is the one to go to. You will be so satisfied. I will never go anywhere else. He is GREAT!

Highly Recommend. I was going to a well known UES salon but Seiji provides a far superior service. Since I discovered him I haven't gone back to the other place! His work is meticulous and he is very organized and professional. Seiji adds exactly the right amount of bundles and tries to keep the price low. He works quickly and fits you in when you need to see him. Moreover, Seiji is also a lovely person and super sweet to hang out with which makes the process so much more enjoyable!
