“The environment's really nice, and easy to get to because it's right by Grand Central, and the atmosphere was really good.”
“If you need to take the GMAT and need a good place to help you prepare for the test, then I would call them because they have great teacher.”
“All the people I have met at Manhattan Review were super nice!”
Some great news I'd like to pass along:
I was accepted to Columbia Business School for their Saturday EMBA Program! I wanted to thank you for all of
your help and guidance during the process; I very much appreciate it!
I am writing to express my satisfaction with your program. I was enrolled in a GMAT tutoring program with your instructor Dan. His coaching and instruction helped me to raise my score from a 590 to a 710! I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks again, Manhattan Elite Prep!
Thieves:
This people wants to steal your money, this is all they are after.
First they claim that they have classes for TOEFL in San Jose, CA. Then, they take your money. Then, they say that there are not enough students to hold the class. Then, they claim that they have expert private tutors who can come to your house in lieu of the class. Then, in the first session, you discovered that the tutor they sent never had any experience with iBt TOEFL, and is not giving any improving feedback. And, the tutor doesn't have time to come to your place in a schedule that suits you. After that, they waste your time looking for other tutors who are expert, then they tell you that this is the only tutor they can find and they won't return your money back. I'm disputing the charge on the credit card now based on the deceiving service these people offer.
Godawful.
This place is godawful. I took a class with these idiots last semester, when they were still called "Manhattan Review." The teachers are barely competent. Their books are terrible -- they don't even bother to edit them.
If you are worried about your test scores, go to a real program that will help. Don't waste your money on these guys -- even at a discount, it is still a ripoff.
It's because of the Unlimited classes and helpful tutors.
If you are considering grad school and you are going to take the GRE you should def. go to Manhattan Review. I mean they give you unlimited class time and the teachers are great. Just as an example I recently completed Manhattan Review's GRE course and I took the test and earned a score of 1200 (600 verbal, 600 quantitative). I also think that I did very well on the essay portion of the test as well but haven't received the scores yet.
The instructors at Manhattan Review were great and I highly recommend them for any higher education learning. By the way I got a 1050 the first time I took the GRE.
Thank you Manhattan Review for helping me get to the top!!!. I primarily wanted a verbal private instructor. I got George. He delivered very good instructions and he was extremely smart, articulate, and cerebral. He understood the questions and was able to explain concepts, such as how to approach critical reasoning and reading comprehension, both clearly and accurately. I would not have scored in the top 8% of GMAT students on the verbal section if it wasn’t for George’s help.
Just Awful.
I have never had such terrible service in my life. When I came in for the class they didnt even give me my books and later blamed me for not asking for something I didnt know I was supposed to recieve.
The teacher taught the most basic math skills with no consideration for the time constraints. Also I was only given about 30 problems of homework to do for the whole week leaving me really confused how anyone could possibly be prepared for the test if they went to these courses.
Really dont even consider these guys they are are awful and you guaranteed to regret paying $1000 + that is non refundable.
Great GMAT Tutors!. I'm really happy that I used Manhattan Review for GMAT tutoring. My tutor was AMAZING. He was super smart and really knew how to teach. Gave me a completely different perspective on GMAT questions!
Personal Attention & Great Instructors / Consultants. I used both of their TOEFL and GMAT private tutors. I originally came from Russia. All the people I have met at Manhattan Review were super nice! They really helped me gain my confidence in acing those two tests one by one. I did score well in the end too. Since then I have recommended them to two of my friends! Sometimes they get really busy and may have a hard time scheduling you. But as long as you work things out with them, it is worth the wait and the money. Go to their info sessions..the guy running it is really great! Knowledgeable and no air of arrogance.
Thanks much! We are glad that you learned a lot. Meantime, we also offer LSAT and GRE tutoring, along with career training help such as corporate finance, etc.
terrible service!!!!.
I wouldn't put even one star!
I signed up for one type of classes , they offered me another for the same price because they couldn't provide what they write . I agreed , because i had GMAT coming up soon.
online classes , well most of them didn't happen because the tutor didn't have internet , or was struggling to get into NY cafe to get some internet for classes. :O
imagine noise we heard instead of her voice.!!! Things like that happened not just once.
Guess what. Tutor is scam , he tried to contact me via voice messages , so later on they wouldn't refund me what i payed them .
Now I try to get my money back , so far no luck .
Not professional !
Please pass the msg to everyone !!! You will loose your money , and no use!
We hope you did well on your GMAT after all. Your classmates rated the classes as great or excellent (4 or 5 out of 5) as both instructors are very well experienced. Maybe you were just having a bad time preparing given the last minute rush. We hope the credit you received rectified your situation! Let us know how we can be of help in the future.
