Fun Irish Pub Good Music
by Girls Gotta Dance
I past this place so many times and it was always rocking. I knew I had to check it out. Everyone seemed to know each other. Kind of a neighborhood hang out. I was waiting for my friend and one table kind of adopted me. Bought me drinks and were really funny guys. Good times. I'll be back.
good food + good service = a place to become a regular!

Good, comfortable pub -- from the food to music levels to the patrons. A good staple if you live in the area. Service was great too. In one instance, we lost a cellphone in the restaurant. The manager went above and beyond helping recover the cellphone. Superb!
- Pros: all around comfortable with fairly priced food and drink
- Cons: cold if sitting near windows
Friendly, with a non-jock back room

When I came in, I told the manager that our group would be "somewhere between 1 and 35 people." I think he panicked, as he shuffled me off to the back bar. With the heavy rain, competing Xmas parties, and the general economy, we ended up with two. But I LIKED being in the comfortable back bar, with Jimmy, our friendly Irish bartender. The music was NOT too loud, and the other patrons were as friendly as kittens. I had the shepherd's pie... great! and a big portion. Ken had the fish and chips... nothing to write home about. What WAS to write home about was the TALLAMORE DEW, an Irish whiskey that Jimmy introduced us to. Mmmm good. As smooth as a flooded street. Conversation was nice, as was the atmosphere. The football on TV was the only sign of Jockdom in the back. Maybe it's worse in the front bar, but we were spared. --Drink Club NYC is a roving group of NYC drinkers
- Pros: great back bartender, good Irish whiskey, some good food,
- Cons: not ALL the food is great, front is loud and crowded
Great food and beer

Stopped by Molly Pitchers recently to watch the Yankee game and some Olympic events. The food was great the sliders were yummy and fresh, they were very filling. The selection of beers on tap was great I had a Magic hat # 9 and a few stella's. The bartenders were so friendly they offered us complimentry shots of Jager from the Jager machine. Overall the place was great, real great staff and the service was attentive. I will definitely be back to this great sports bar
- Pros: Shows every game
sorry we spent the money.

the waitstaff was rude and inattentive, and our food took forever-- 50 minutes for sliders and spinach and artichoke dip that came out like a watery soup. three midwestern gals who've all been servers and tip well: i personally was sorry that we even gave them 15 percent out of courtesy. they deserved nothing.
