After the last wash, this Laundromat was resuscitated as a booth-laden, brick-and-wood refuge from the East Village hurly-burly. HORRIBLE DIRTY Bar

Horrible bartenders. Owner is a PRICK. I overheard him yelling at a nice customer. Really bad attitudes in here. Ill never go back. It also smells bad and there are dogs all over the place. pissing on the floor. DISGUSTING.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS OVERPRICED DIVE!!!

Horrifying experience. Unfriendly staff of young/middle aged hipster punks going nowhere in life. How hard is it to serve someone a beer in the right size? The stated size on the menu board says "all beers served in 20 oz pints"...guess what, not the one I order apparently!
After I receive and pay for the one I order, the dumb, obnoxious chunky blond punk with TERRIBLE attitude tells me "that one is the only one not served in 20 oz."
Really? I asked for the rest of the 10 oz, and they refuse. I ask for a manger, her and another wimpy monkey-butt bald headed middle aged moron comes out from and reiterates what she says. Lucky that these bars now need bouncers. Haha, what a joke.
Alphabet City is dead. Occupied by people who don't understand customer service, loyalty, and simple service. Posers. All it would have taken was to fill my cup up to the proper amount stated on the sign and it would have avoided bad reviews. HOW SIMPLE IS THAT? Instead, bad service, bad people, bad unoriginal bar with frat boys and punks that I'll never go back to again.

Best bar and bartender ever

DOS is my FAVE bar!!its my "go to" spot! I always feel more than welcome there. I love that I can show up in my sweatpants on a weeknight or I can come there on a weekend night and rock all night!! Pete is by far my favorite bartender in all of new york. He serves my drinks really well and is a great coversationist! Go to DOS and tell pete I sent you!!

Clearly who ever is complaining about this bartender is overly sensitive and lame. Learn to appreciate the charm of the neighborhood bar. Dos is the best bar around for high quality people. If you don't get it u don't belong so please stay away if u can't handle it.

best neighborhood bar

i live around the corner from drop off and it's by far my favorite neighborhood hangout. there's always a good vibe flowing from the second i walk in. the fact that dogs are allowed in the bar make it 1000 times more awesome than it already is! pete is the best bartender there. after a long day at work, a drink and 25 jokes from pete leave me feeling much better about the next day to come. he's actually my favorite bartender in the whole city. maybe the whole world actually.
