An Astoria bar with a backyard screens the occasional indie flick and offers a bevy of specialty drinks.
Always something going on.

This place is surpriseing. I have been to OPen Mic nights there, concerts, seen great DJ's and have never been able to predict what would happen here. Its a quirky place. Hidden door, pretty back courtyard, burlesque shows, and then you realize they have gourmet infusions for cocktails, homemade mac and cheese and stuff and a buy one get one free happy hour every night at midnight!!!! It's like what more don't i know?! I will come here whenever I want a real night out in Astoria as opposed to just sitting around a bar. There is always, always something happening here.
- Pros: cool, friendly crowd with lots of events
- Cons: slightly far. worth it though.
Cool Spot

I went to meet a friend who lured me with promises of a beer whiskey shot combo for $3 on wed. True. I got a little more hammered than planned but that was cause the owners had the new rock band Beatles version on the big screen and the regulars there seemed really into getting us all involved. A midweek meet up turned into one of the most unexpectedly fun nights at this real cool place. Im surprised it took me so long to find it. ill be back.
- Pros: Beatles Rock Band???!!!
- Cons: nah
The best "go out" place in Astoria

Behind the big black door is a gorgeous bar, art gallery and music venue. The girls and I have caught some great concerts here on the weekends and we are in love with the cocktails they make. Try the blueberry fusion that uses rosemary infused stoli blue with homemade sour and some other stuff...it's the perfect drink!!!
By the by, the drinks are unexpectedly cheap and the staff is really cool. These guys also have one of the prettiest back yards that I've come across!
- Pros: There's always something going on
- Cons: a little off the beaten path but worth it
