This club needs to get a update on the Light equipment.. I was here this weekend, and yeah it was cover charge $10 on the guest list before 12am, I have been to this place before and this time I decided to go with a reviewers mindset. My first impression was the entrance. It looks really outdated, Feels more like a Haunted house were everything is old, rusty, dusty and dirty. The dance floor for the 1st and floor which gets the most abuse, feels like dancing on the boardwalk. The second floor was closed that day but that one feels like walking into my grandmas house which has really old carpet floor. The third level seem pretty nicely maintained and the Basement level is just down right small and shady. I was there from 12am - 5am. Comparing this club which often charges $40 for entrance, and $8 for coat check. I don't know were all the money is going...In the Queens area there are a few much newer and better maintained clubs, I am a mobile DJ so I tend to pay more attention to their equipment, for this review I looked at all of the lighting equipment and it is Ancient stuff, we are talking about just the Scanners and Moving heads, not the Really Expensive LED display on the Wall which is new. In a brief description is a place were you should go online and get the guest list which is Free on Fridays and enjoy. I would like to see the lighting equipment get a serious upgrade to the more new and sophisticated stuff out there....

HORRIBLE MONEY HUNGRY NAZI'S. Not even worth one star unless you enjoy a club run by money grubbing NAZi's. They will look for any way to get money from you.

Unfortunately, many awesome DJ's play at Pacha so my friends and I are always reluctant to go. And each experience gets worse and worse. Partying at Pacha kind of reminds you of Schindlers List.

There are times you will go to the bathroom or another level and not be able to go back to your friends because they lock you in an area due to crowdedness. You might get stuck in an area or level for at LEAST 30 mins and even the whole night! leaving people no choice but to push and shove, get out of control and that's when fights break out.

Maybe you'll wanna go have a cigarette in the normal smoking section only to find out, that specific night, its NOT a smoking section but an all exit door and will not let you back in.. no matter what. Not even to get your stuff or tell your friends. You just have to go back around and pay another entrance fee.

Perhaps you won't want to deal with the ridiculous lines at coat check, or you can't even get down the stairs to get to coat check. So you decide to carry your sweater, put it down on top of a speaker to dance a bit and without warning have it taken by security and will not give it back till you come back the next day to pick it up.

If you are just standing and enjoying the music, you are most likely considered a drug dealer and will be watched and pulled aside. And hopefully, in the eyes of their retarded security, you don't resemble someone who got caught with drugs sometime before or you will get pulled out and humiliated, wrongfully. Oh and make sure you don't have any cash on you in case you are pulled out and checked for whatever reason, cuz yeah they might let you back in (which is unlikely) but not with your cash. And if they send you home, still.. not with your cash.

Everyone enjoys lights but partying at Pacha, you get lights and flashlights shined in your face constantly.

And GOD FORBID you are a perfectly normal human being, sober, club-rule abiding PAYING partier wearing a plain white tee shirt, you are not allowed in. WHAT KIND OF CLUB DOES NOT ALLOW PLAIN WHITE TEE'S IN?! PACHA NYC! oh BUT if you buy a $30 product from Pacha.. ON TOP of their $40 entrance fee, then your dangerous and law breaking white tee is magically allowed to come in their royal, grand dickhead club. What's funny is that KNOWING pacha is run by cocksckers, I called in advance to ask if girls were allowed in with flip flops. And to my surprise they said yes, it is allowed. But who would've thought plain white tee's weren't?! SO IF YOU WANNA PARTY AT PACHA, CALL IN ADVANCE AND RUN YOUR WHOLE OUTFIT BY THEM, cuz with them you seriously never know!

I have never written a review, nor do I ever care enough to publicly bash a place but people need to know how HORRIBLE this place is. A club is supposed to be a place where people are excited to go and have a good time. NOT a place to fear, hoping to be able to stay till the end if you get past the entrance door.

THEY ARE MONEY STEALING NAZI'S.

other than that, i hear the burgers outside the exit are pretty damn good.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE for ANY reason!!!. This was by far the worst club I've ever been to. I came from central PA to see Avicii and left EXTREMELY disappointed and irate. About 3 months before the show, tickets on their website were $10 and I would've gladly paid $10 to see Avicii, but I saw a link that said if you signed up for their eNewsletter, you could get 2 free passes to ANY show, you just had to choose which date when you signed up... did that... got an email saying my name was on the guest list for the night of Avicii. When I got there (before 11 as the passes said), I gave them my name and they said it would be $50 a piece. I explained that I was on the guest list and showed them my email and they said that their manager changed his mind and he was not honoring the free passes for the night, so the $50 was a reduced ticket price. After causing a mini-scene they told me the best they could do was $40 each and I could use my passes for another night. I don't mind paying $40 or even $100 per ticket to see Avicii, but the fact that I was emailed free passes specifically for that night and they didn't notify me until I got to the door that they weren't honoring them is unacceptable. When I finally got in, the dance floor was so crowded that it was uncomfortable (and for someone like myself who frequents dance clubs like this, you know it must've been ridiculously overcapacity for me to feel uncomfortable), I decided to go up to the 3rd floor balcony to see if that was any less crowded... it wasn't, and to make it worse, the actual space that overlooks the main floor is only about 8 square feet and is directly above the lighting so all you could see was the top of the lighting brackets. Then, to get back down to the main floor, I had to wait over an hour in line because they were only letting 5 people down the stairs at a time. By 12:30 the dance floor was so crowded that I wasn't even standing on the floor, the people around me were so crammed together that they were suspending me about a cm off the ground. I'd say they were AT LEAST at double maximum-capacity. Avicii didn't end up coming on until 1:30am, so I was already dead and I was so annoyed with the experience that I left by 2am. Pacha NYC is taking full advantage of the brand name "Pacha" and ruining it. Only Pacha NYC can make Avicii a bad experience. And for the record, I will not be "using the free passes for another show."

Best Dance Club NYC Has to Offer. Gone are the glory days of megaclubs pumping house music every Friday and Saturday night...Pacha is the last of them. While it may not compare to most of its legendary predecessors, its the best NYC has to offer if your looking to get your dance on well into the morning (and afternoon...depending on which DJ is playing).

Depends What You're Looking For. The wait t oget in wasn't too bad, there were a ton of people there. I went when cosmic gate was playing. I dont know if the kind of people change depending on whose playing that night. The cover price and the drink prices were comparable to other clubs in the city. The club has a decent layout. But my biggest problem were the people. Now like I said the people may be different depending on the dj/artist who is playing. However there were a ton of fat chicks, guys, and asians. There were easily twice as many guys than girls. There were a few hot girls we met and danced with. When we tried to talk to them they could barely speak english. If you are just trying to rave and enjoy yourself then this place is good. But if you are trying to pick up girls, I would suggest somewhere else because the only chicks at pacha are fat chicks or drugged up hippies. But the djs they got playing are top notch.

Waste of Money and Time. This place is horrible place. We were about 25 people to celebrate my friend's B'day and thought may be it is really good place to go. But after getting in, we all felt that we made a mistake to come here. Overly crowded and people were wearing shorts, sneakers, and what ever. Do not spend your hard earned money.
