Rockin till 4am. I stay at Encore until it closes; there's always a fun and diverse crowd and the service is on point. It's unbelievable how many talented singers rock the house. I take all of my friends here and they all leave drunk and happy... It's a great place to take out-of towners, locals, anyone who loves to rock out...

Bartenders hog the karaoke stage. I knew there was a reason why I liked the private karaoke rooms. You actually get to hear your friends sing! We put in karaoke song requests at 11:30pm and they did not come up even when we left after 2:30am! And this was not because the place was packed or that a lot of people were waiting. The guy who was manning the karaoke list kept on putting his bartender buddies (who were busy belting out showtune favorites rather than serving drinks) on stage. Most of the staff could have been high school theatre dropouts for all anybody knew. Not to mention the guy had a tipping jar but paying didn't get your song played either. On top of all that, the drinks were beyond weak, especially considering the prices! This place sucked ridiculously and there's nothing that could induce me to go back there.

Nothing Holds A Candle To This Place. I spend as much time here as I can. I come here till 4am then back for breakfast. I wont go anywhere else in fact, and my friends all get mad at me for it. You can find me on those karaoke mics any night of the week....

Encore.. Do you want more??. The answer to that is yes. This place is by far the most fun kareoke/rock bar in manhattan. I practically live at this place. The owners and management are great and the crowd is all around fun. If you are looking for somewhere new to go in NY.. Encore is the spot.

Swelled Heads. Great after work/happy hour place to meet friends old and new, when it is/was Rogue. Rogue morphs into Encore, a karaoke bar, scene changes from dead at 9PM to crowded by 10:30. Velvet rope, tall dark bouncers in black, flaming party promoter, the whole wannabe 9. A little press swelled their heads. (Great DJ is only plus). You karaoke to the entire bar, not too many people were up for that. Inside with four friends spending big since 7PM, 3 more attempted to join us around 11 turned off by the doormen insisting the 3 commit to spend a minimum of $150 on a Ccard before entry. What BS is this ? We closed our tab and left, vowing never to return and to tell the world. If you are a broke-ass 20-something girl looking for something different over a beer, this place is for you, for about an hour.

Its not brain surgery here !!!. I have no clue why there are not more places like "Encore" in Manhattan currently. Aside from the karaoke which is only party of the vibe, the place is just plain old fashioned fun. I forgot what it was like to go to a cool place in the city without having to get a dirty look from a door man, give my credit card and license to a waitress who fake smiles at me and has already charged me 20% gratuity before i have even received a drink. These guys at "Encore" actually get it !!! An upscale bar with a ton of hot chicks and great rock n' roll music. Gonna make this place my "Cheers"

Jade Max. This place is awesome. I love karaoke, but never experienced anything quite like this before. It's all the fun of a club and karaoke bar, without any of the hassle, no lines etc. The women are beautiful, the hosts, staff, and karaoke singers are phenomonal. Can't wait to go back there.

Karaoke Party Heaven. This place is awesome. It just opened up around the corner from my house and I had my friends birthday party there. The mix between crazy karaoke with host Sid and the DJ is fantastic. It eliminates the need to go for karaoke or a hot club. Also the music the DJ played was great 80's & Rock. The owner bought us a round of shots called Birthday Sundaes and we did some sake bombs. They even serve food till 4 am. My new favorite spot to go out in Chelsea.

Upscale karaoke lures young professionals with specialty cocktails and rock icon memorabilia.. In Short
Much like an upscale sports bar, this hip karaoke club splays its flat screens out stadium-style--high above heads in every direction, flashing B-52s music videos and illuminating blown-up photographs of Jimi, Jagger and Janis. At the room's elevated platform pinnacle, a DJ spins those know-all-the-words classics to warm up the crowd, which lounges along sleek leather couches and perches on stools, slinging back specialty shot bombs and cocktails to fortify their nerves.
