Editorial Review for Fresh – by Joanna Prisco
In Short
Only a handful of Fresh locations in the country have what they call an "espace," or spa, and this bright boutique is one of them. Up front, shelves of beautifully packaged skin care, makeup and home products beckon with earthy ingredients like anise, appleseed and Umbrian clay. In back, two rooms offer services such as body exfoliations and facials. The twist? The price of the treatment is redeemable in products.

I love Fresh products because everything smells great and most really works. However, I have to say that the attitude of the sales people at this location are quite snippy at time. And times when they are nice, they are just looking to sell more products. And when you are not interesting in buying more products than the one thing that you are there to buy, then they are not so nice again. I've been to this location several times and never felt great walking out of there. I now actually go to the Fresh store on the Westside because they are so much nicer over there.
Pros: Great products!
Cons: Sales people with bad attitude at this location.

I've been a loyal Fresh customer for years now. I absolutely love their products and have no intention to stop using them. That being said, I have to warn other loyal Fresh users away from the 'spa'. In my opinion, it is a waste of time. Having the same products applied by a girl in not a very relaxing setting is not my idea of a spa treatment, especially since I am expected to tip her 20% for what is basically a product demo. It's probably a great choice for people not familiar with the products. You get a free test run then credit for products in the store. I would definitely considering giving this as a gift to someone unfamiliar with Fresh. For those familiar, don't waste your time.
Pros: credit towards Fresh products
Cons: not a very relaxing enviornment, not a spa treatment, nothing you can't do at home, not a true body treatment
