In Short – This tri-level strip club, part of a national chain, boasts two stages on the first floor, one stage in the second-floor steakhouse, and VIP rooms above--and plenty of women to fill them. The clientele works its way from a blue collar mix during the day to businessmen by night, as well as bachelor parties and--perhaps most festive of all--divorce parties. Seven plasma TVs, complete with a stock ticker, supplement the live entertainment.

Differentiation as a business-level strategy had worked well in a growing industry, but with increased competition as well as changes in the general environment, Rick’s should tailor its differentiation strategy to focus on more specific market segments.
- Pros: Focus differentiation
- Cons: Increased competition, changes in general environment
