Best Time Ever!!!. I was just recently at Gansevoort 69 for a friends birthday party and it was AWESOME! There was a live Dj playing great music and the vibe was very cool. There were very interesting pictures up on the walls that reminded me of the old MPD. The food was great and the drinks we're even better. It's even open Late Night on the Weekends till 5:30 A.M.

20 minutes for 2 drinks. I cannot give my opinion on the food since we did not eat here. We came for a few drinks after dinner at another restaurant. It took 20 minutes for us to get our two drinks and 20 minutes to get our check after asking for it- I can only imagine how long it would take for the food to come. I would be surprised if this place lasted another year....poor management- seemed like they were understaffed and nobody wanted to work. The owner or manager was there and appeared to be more concerned about partying with friends than with helping his staff.

rocked me all night long. A friend turned me on to this place and I wound up throwing my birthday there. From beginning to end it was amazing!! When I arrived management had put roses on the bar for me, taken out some of the tables near the bar so my friends and I could mingle (and shake our bootays!) The chef even made me these mini cupcakes and had them out on the bar and tables for me and my guests. They definitely went above and beyond and were more than accomadating for me! ( i admit I am way high maintanence! lol) There was even a DJ (i think he is there in the later part of the week in the evenings)! The staff was so gracious and fun. I will definitely throw my next bash there!

Everyone was raving about the food. Breakfast at 3am? How can you go wrong?! My co worker told me they just started doing a happy hour and have a bunch of new yummy cocktails...

anyone want to meet for after work drinks and eats ? :)

Yes it was really that bad. I was so bad I am actually writing a review. After denying us reservations the 1st time we called we got in so it was pretty surprising when only 3 tables were fill out of the 30. They tried to make us order our appatizers before our dinks even came then they let us know that they were out of the 5 of the 20 items they had on the menu! Not to mention we then proceeded to order the sides for our main dishes only to find out once dinner came that they were out of them as well.

The customer service was not that great as all the staff was new and had no idea what was going on. My question is how canthey be out of 25% of there menu if they don't even have any customers?!

Citysearch Editorial Review. Replacing the beloved restaurant Florent, this charming Meatpacking District eatery offers post-club hopping diners an upscale, yet homey destination for alcohol-absorbing comfort food. Sparingly decorated with a few antique maps, shiny white tile walls, pressed tin ceilings and an old-timey zinc bar, 69 Gansevoort feels like a designer diner. Fittingly, chef Jacqueline Lombard has created a cheeky menu that recalls updated childhood favorites, including her version of SpaghettiOs, tater tots and mac ‘n’cheese (albeit deliciously updated with bacon, peas and shallots).
