“The variety of hookah at cozy cafe creates near endless new flavors to try that go with its excellent environment.”
“best place to chill out”
“We went to this bar on Saturday and i sat in the back yard and the service was amazing.”
“Overall, a pretty nice Hookah lounge with decent service and fair prices.”
“amazing staff and quick service”
It doesn't get much cozier than this. A heated all season back yard patio and a richly decored Middle Eastern themed bar of plush sofas, 69
different varieties of tobacco flavored with fresh fruit juice, and weekend belly dancing action! A large projector shows Middle Eastern images while world beats play until the early hours.
Arabian nights have never been cozier at this tiny nook, it's filled to the brim with oversized cushions that beg to be lounged on. Nestle around one of the undersized tables and share a hookah, entree, or desserts from Cozy's menu, while a guitar and drum in the backroom encourage spontaneous dancing. Though the waiters can tell you about the healing properties of each of their exotic teas, you can always self medicate with beer and wine instead. Try tempting mixes like Viagra, Orgasm, & "Knock me out" to make your night or celebration an amazing experience.

I had a good smoke on the back patio with some friends . I do not listen to negative reviews they are all haters and have nothing else better to do but write crap.
This place is Horrible! Save your time and Money!. This place is absolutely distasteful. A group of my friends, 5 of us went here for a night out to smoke some hookah. I've done this plenty of times, but my friend wanted to try this place he often came to. First off all the waiter was rude, couldn't really explain much to us about what the Viagra hookah was. The hookah was decent but the prices were highway robbery. We bought 2 hookahs for the five of us, which was fine, that total came up to $50, then 5 waters, what place charges $4 for waters??!?! That's absolutely dreadful, and we're not even at a baseball stadium to justify a typical $1 bottle of Poland spring water that was not cold. So far our bill total is 70, then the additional taxes which was $7, and a service charge of $14, with a grand total of $91. Why were we charged $108?!??! I think they thought because we were college students we wouldn't look at the bill? But this place is absolutely a rip off with how expensive everything is. I would not recommend it, not at all, not ever! Not ever again! Save your time and money! It's not worth for what you're paying. Check out a real hookah bar Fayrooz Cafe in Astoria or ANY other hookah bars around the area. Also the seats were not cozy who has benches with small pillows? Talk about back pains after leaving.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE at Cozy Cafe SMH!!. Terrible place would NEVER go there again, First off friends came with me to hang out and enjoy the night, The rules are you HAVE to purchase another hookah even if nobody else is going to smoke SMFH!!!!!! I felt after we were being rushed out at that as well! WIll never recommend this place to anybody, Hope they close down, BAD experience and I saw others leaving as well cause of this.....Please I hope anyone reading this will never chose this dredful location!
Great Place to Chill. This is really the place to go when you're just looking for a good night with friends sitting around a Hookah chilling. Nothing more relaxing, and I do it a lot. And this is definitely one of the top places in the city to go. Make sure to bring some friends, and you'll have a night to look back on for a while.
Best Hookah Lounge in the city. Before going to cozy, I have decided to go over the reviews on city search. I have heard so many good things about cozy cafe for a few years, but never got the chance to go. So, despite the few negative reviews I have decided to go there and try it out. I went there last Saturday with a group of 12 people. Saturday at cozy is very busy and fun. One of the owners, the woman, took care of our group. She treated us very nice. She gave us a very good service and didn't rush us anywhere. We have stayed there for about 2 hours. We ordered a few of the viagara hookahs, and Stella's specials, drinks and deserts. The bill came out to be fair for everything that we ordered for 12 people. There was a belly dancer there at the time that we were there, and it was so much fun. My friends and I have enjoyed our experience at cozy cafe, and we'll definitely go there again soon. I highly recommend going there to experience the cozy and fun atmosphere at cozy cafe.
After 5 years, I'll never support this place again.. Cozy's is a good hookah place if you don't know any better. Once upon a time, they were a customer oriented, friendly establishment. But soon, in part bc of super young kids [people who are are clearly 16,etc.] and maybe local students?, Cozy changed its ways. It's uptight, unfriendly mom-ager [the owners wife?] is there constantly, literally policing everyone adn every action. They changed their policies from however many hookahs you want, for however long you wanted to stay, to however large you wanted your group to 2 hookahs/couple [I mean... 4 people are in no way gonna need TWO hookahs between them-- thats rather excessive], to time limits and being rushed, etc. I once even made them refund part of my bill for rushing me and my friends out. I'd been going to Cozy for over 5 years and even established a bit of repoire with them but will never support them again. There are a TON of equally as great, cheap places on the same street [all up and down 1st avenue/LES/alphabet city ] who will treat customers with respect and appreciation. It's sad to see a fun, small, family owned establishment turn into a monster. Popularity really go to this place's head. It's no longer fun. Save yourself the trouble and head to Karma around the corner or Babe's or Horu's ... really.
Cozy Cafe.
If you are passing through the city for sometime or you live in the city, Cozy Cafe is a stop you will never forget. The atmosphere is up-beat but relaxing. Music is diverse, up-to-date and never stops. If your looking for a nice stress free time Cozy Cafe is where you would go. A diamond in the rough, memories you will never forget.
The hookahs are one of the best I have ever had the pleasure to stumble upon. I would recommend ordering White Grape with Blueberry. The food is great! I would suggest ordering the chicken with cheese wrap.
DON'T GO. Dont go here, they are over priced and charged us 50 bucks to use the hookah for 30 mins and made us buy water for each of us and charged us 4 dollars. STELLA is not nice person, she is the owner or main staffed person, stay away from this,., I would recommed Leseuk harem in west village ( 5 stars to this place) worth every dime,
nice hookah bar. We went there last Saturday for the first time and were quite impressed with the service. My friends and I prefer crowded places to hangout, so it was definitely a good choice. For those of you who don't like crowded places they have a beautiful back room (moroccan room) for chilly evenings. The staff was very friendly. The DJ even played our favorite songs from our ipod. We were invited to come back on a weekday for a free hookah. Weekdays there are considered to be Monday through Thursday
Never again. Waiters are rude. They kicked me n my friends out because we didn't want to order more drinks they over charged us. They charge tax and service fees. WTF boring place actually. Don't go here and waste your time and $
