DELICIOUS brunch!. Great food, great service. Was completely empty when we went for brunch on Saturday morning. Highly recommend if you're in the neighborhood.
Good place for a bar lunch.
Great place for a bar lunch. Food was plentiful and the service was good. The ornate ceiling is very impressive and adds to the dining experience. Visted a couple of times and each time the place was busy without being overcrowded.
Excellently sited if you want a pint after doing Macys.
Excellent Fish & Chips...
I used to live across the street from Brendan's and it was amazing to find that while they were remodeling, a beautiful and intricate ceiling full of ornate workmanship was found after the false celing was removed.
Excellent ambiance, great food, great staff. A must visit.
Excellent food at reasonable prices, beautiful room, great staff. UPDATED: DECEMBER 28, 2009 -- Brendan's is still the most beautiful Irish pub in the world. It's in what used to be the lobby of a fabulous ancient hotel. I think the ceilings must be at least 30 feet high and beautifully embellished. It's a pleasure to dine under this soaring ceiling. The food is superb and very reasonably priced. Their steaks, salmon, fish & chips, and crab cakes are all absolutely wonderful. My one suggestion is: Order the "shoestring fries" not the regular fries. As a real Irish pub (Brendan, the owner, actually comes from Ireland) you will not be disappointed by the plethora of draft beers available. My friend from Atlanta was bowled over to find Boddington's on draft (just one example). Next time you're at Macy's, cross Broadway and walk a few steps east on 35th St. to Brendan's.
