Great aesthetician. They recently got a new aesthetician, Lena and she is amazing. The wax was about as pleasant as a wax can be. She used wax made for sensitive skin. Lena did the procedure with quick movements that left minimal redness and the price wasn't bad either. The facial was pleasant and relaxing. And like the wax, there was no redness after the facial and I was ready to go out. Would definitely recommend

AWFUL experience. I recently got my hair cut and highlighted here, and have never had my hair butchered more. The cut was embarrassing and the color (which was supposed to be blonde highlights) came out orange. On top of the bad outcome, the experience itself was terrible. For a place that is not luxurious or especially nice (think tattered wood floors, stark white walls), the staff had quite the snobbish attitudes. The manager was especially rude and when talking to the other customers who had just gotten their hair done, they all seemed disappointed as well.

In NYC where the best salons in the world are, this one is DEFINITELY not recommended.

Great service, friendly staff, awsome hair, great prices! Cool downtown feel without the attitude.. I have used a lot of salons but this place is by far better than all! First off it is really big but still friendly. They gave me a tour (they have 2 floors) since I was new and offered me a beverage. Then they did a consultation BEFORE they started. After talking about MY needs they brought me for a shampoo. They call it the wash house but it was like stepping into a spa! When I was done, and my hair was fantastic, they escourted me to change and said bye. The girls at the front were STILL friendly and thats because there were no surprises with my bill. I got what I wanted and paid what they told me it would be!! I tell all my friends, and next time i'm going to leave my snotty colorist and spend time in their color bar! Awsome place with fair price and fantastic results. Worth twice the price!
