disappointed. I was in need of a change in stylists so I opted for Oscar Blondi Salon and had Myron do the cut. I had just spent 3 months letting my hair grow out and told him I did not want bangs. What I ended up with was a cut that was in style 10 years ago and guess what?...i have bangs. He showed me where he would cut the front, but when I walked out of the salon, I had bangs that were 2 inches shorter that where he said they would be. Plus my hair looks like its just a bi-level cut - short in the front and sides and longer in the back. I told him I wanted a "current" look... Now I have to wait another 3 months to let it grow back. So disappointing.... I feel ripped off and have no recourse.

ehh, questionable management. Well this is a delayed review but nonetheless I felt compelled to write it. I had gone here a couple years ago for cut and color and the power with the computer system had gone out. They wrote down my cc numbers and I signed something as the girl at the front desk said they were going to plug it in when the power came back on. Days later I checked my bank statement and as promised I had been charged. The next scheduled appt I had I was in the middle of discussing color when one of the managers came over to me and said that last time I was there I did not pay. It was embarrassing and she wasn't very pleasant. I told her about the computers going down and checking my bank statement and I was sure I had been charged but if i was mistaken I would gladly pay. Mind you, this is in the middle of my session to get beautified and I thought it was quite tacky and rude. I told the manager I could forward her my bank statement and she gave me her email. I ended up photocopying the statement and faxing it to her and she wrote me back, "ok thanks". No apology for making the mistake or for me having to take time out of my busy work day to show her what her records had lost. It was just ridiculous and I was disappointed that this was how they treat a customer ho shells out several hundred dollars a month to look gorg ... I figured I would take my business elsewhere and I did.

I understand that information gets lost and I really didnt have a problem getting her the proof that I had paid but it was the manner in which it was handled that left me thinking these people really dont know the first thing about customer service. This is NYC after-all and a great cut and color is an arms length away so I just wont go back there.

Perfect everytime!. Oh how I miss this place!! I've moved 6hrs away and have actually considered flying back just to get my hair done! My hair was never more perfect than when I would get my cut and color done here.

Nunzio is the only one I would ever let cut my hair. I have very long hair, and he would never cut more than we agreed on and would always style it beautifully. I felt like a movie star after being in his chair! He's also very friendly and gotta love the Italian accent!

When I would get color and highlights, I went to Frank who transformed my color. It was always gorgeous. I have a lot of anxiety about anyone coloring my hair because I've had sooo many mishaps over the years, even in very high end salons. However, with Frank, I knew I would get a beautful result and could actually relax.

Kyle and Nunzio are the best of the best. Kyle and Nunzio are the best and busiest artists in New York.My husband gave me a cut w/Nunzio and color w/Kyle for Christmas and it was a gift for both of us.Kyles eye for color is unparalleled.I have never had more efficient colorist.I was finished in the blink of an eye.It was no wonder that I saw Uma Thurman leaving his chair as I arrived.Nunzio gave me the best cut of my life.Now my husband cant keep his hands off me.The only problem is I dont know how I will afford to keep seeing them but I'll find a way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Cuts by Carol. Carol gave me the best cut I have ever had. I had heard about the salon and I was passing on a Monday, and Carol was there. so I decided to have my cut with her. I was blown away. My hair moved and looked 10x thicker. I am going to be glued to her for life.

Charlize Theron eat your heart out!. I haven't seen a stylist since the butchering of my locks in early 2007. So when I was shopping I ran into a girl who had the most amazing hair, it was shiny, bouncy, and full and decided to ask who did her hair. She said Samantha.

I made an appointment with her and was still a little apprehensive. I brought in my Elle UK magazine 2008 with Charlize Theron on the cover and asked her if she thought I could manage something like it. She said "You can pull it off, but I'm going to make it better". I held on to the chair and closed my eyes, when she began drying I could immediately tell that my hair had been through the red carpet overhaul, even damp it looked amazing. When I got up from her chair my hair looked incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO MUCH that I felt a need to just walk out and show it off, I went shopping three women stopped me to ask where I had my hair done, so I passed on the secret Samantha @ Oscar Blandi. Plus, I've never worn my hair natural but since this cut I don't bother with hot tools or dryers, just wash and go. MUCH better than Charlize..

Carol Rosenberg at Oscar Blandi for the best haircut in NYC. Kyle overrated for color - Titi is my favorite by far!. Carol Rosenberg at Oscar Blandi is a must! Titi rocks for color!! Customer service is the utmost importance for both these women. They deliver. I will never go to anyone else again. I have an eagle eye when it comes to every strand of layered hair and bangs on my head. If you want the best hair cut in NYC then you should go to Carol Rosenberg at Oscar Blandi. She's been working as a team with Titi for color since they came into this business (Titi is extremely knowledgable when it comes to color and will make you extremely happy). The both of them together are the complete package. Carol will talk to you about what you want, she'll analyze your hair and most of all she takes pride in her work (she won't send you out with some half butchered, chopped up haircut). She is UNBELIEVABLE, patient, caring and pays attention to your locks. She doens't just whip through them in five minutes with a scissor. This is a sculpturing process people. Truly a gift in this industry - hard to find. She's also looks good herself and very sweet - not to mention practical which is also important. Someone you would trust with your "look". Check her out for your next cut and you will thank me!!!

RUDE. I never take the time to write a review but I have found the front desk at Oscar Blandi absolutely rude. The staff spends too much time gossiping with each other than actually doing work or paying attention to customers. The front desk does not even smile and the other morning I called and was left on hold for 20 minutes. Someone needs to teach this place about customer service. The only reason people go is because they do have the best colorists (Kyle and Margo)--but the rest of the staff needs an attitude adjustment.

Kyle is overrated, Gina is amazing!. I love Oscar Blandi products and thought to give the salon a shot. I have tried the best of salons/stylists from Fekkai to Hershberg and from the reviews I figured I would go with Kyle for color and Gina for cut. Let's start with the reception, you first get seated and colorists/stylists have no idea who's waiting for them and how long. There's total lack of communication between the receptionists and colorists/stylists.

Gina as stylist is amazing, listens to what you want and delivers time and time again, personable and sweet. Kyle on the other hand is a "good" colorist, for the price though, I expect jaw dropping, stunning hair. If you're not an existing client or "celebrity/socialite" do not expect to get any time from him. He is rude and a snob! As a matter of fact, expect to tell his assistant what you want who in return will repeat to him what you just said while he is there the whole time. Go to Gina for cut and skip Kyle all together.

Dream team!!. Gina and Kyle are a dream team!! They are both hard to get an appointment with but Well Worth the Wait!! I have been to every top salon in NYC and these two have convinced me to stay in one place. Gina kept my hair long but made it look more interesting & cool. Kyle gave me a natural buttery blonde that I have been trying to explain forever. They both really know how to make a woman look Gorgeous!
