My husband and I were lucky enough to get out of our move with this company before things got too complicated. They provided a quote for our move and in reliance of that, we gave them our credit card information to book the move. We thought everything was finalized and we were all set. The next day, I got an email from the moving consultant, informing me that they were overbooked on the day of our move (even though when I called the day before and made a payment with my credit card, everything was ok - nobody mentioned the move date being overbooked or anything), and that I should talk to his manager to see what can be done. I called his manager, and I was told on the phone that I would need to pay a lot more to keep the move on the day it was scheduled for. So, obviously, they were not overbooked or anything. They just wanted to make more money last minute. So, when I told him that this was very disappointing and that we were already provided a quote which we relied on, he started negotiating with me to see how much more I would be OK paying -- which was ridiculous. I just told him to cancel the move and that I was not interested in working with a moving company that functioned like that. I had read all the negative reviews online, other reviewers warning about similar situations with this company. I really wanted to give them a chance, but I guess all the reviewers had a point. I would not trust this company. Their junior consultants have great intentions, they are very attentive and helpful, but the management is not professional.

I am writing you this letter just to let you know how happy your company made me, with my move to Florida. My husband and I , and our big dog got into the car and left for Florida not knowing where we would live. We left our possessions in two storage bins, back home in Smithtown, Long Island. I started looking for movers a few months before we left. I received tons of emails from so many movers. Some gave me quote that were so high it was frightening, others so low it was just as frightening. I was so confused, and mixed up I didn't know what to do!

Then I received a call from Imperial movers, and someone by the name of Gall spoke to me, and asked me a few questions about my move. He then gave me an estimate on the amount of stuff I had to move. I explained how it was in two storage bins all packed up. He told me I had nothing to worry about and explained how the truck would go there and pick it all up and bring it down to Florida.

To my surprise, when the time came to leave we finally got to florida, had no place to live, went to a motel, with our big dog, call a few brokers to find us a rental. Finally after 4-5 days and really stressing out, being homeless, we found a beautiful little house. I decided to call Imperial and tell them I was ready. They assured me that they would send a truck to my storage bins and my daughter met them there so she could for see the move going as planned. She called me to tell me that they arrived, started repacking stuff that I carelessly had forgotten to pack properly.She told me how nice the guys were and bought them coffee, then lunch, and dinner. It was a huge move, and it took a long time.

After calling Gal and planning the move, I was surprised to get a phone call the next evening, from someone who said he was the driver of my moving truck! I said" How could that be!" how did you get to Florida so quick?!!! he assured me that he was there. And he was! he met us at the house in 10 minutes.

Not only did they get my stuff there sooner than I ever expected, but, they removed everything off the truck with such care and concern. Nothing was scratched, nothing broken, no walls scratched, and neat as a pin with everything they did. My beds were put together without asking, and I can truly say I had the best nights sleep after all that stress of driving down, no place to live, confused about the moving company to choose, hoping all would go well.

PLEASE TRUST ME, WHEN I TELL YOU THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! THEY KEPT THEIR EVERY WORD TO ME, FROM DAY 1 UNTIL THE DAY WE MOVED IN. IF YOU WANT HONEST PEOPLE WHO YOU CAN TRUST, GO WITH IMPERIAL, THEY REALLY DO CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! THEY WERE SENT FROM HEAVEN TO GET ME TO FLORIDA, IN ONE BIG HAPPY MOVE!!! THANKS TO GAL, JUAN, HENRY,(A SWEETHEART) I OWE HIM, AND MICHAEL, AND OF COURSE THE SWEET RECEPTIONIST WHO I BOTHERED SO MANY TIMES. THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!

This is the fourth time I have used Imperial Moving. Each time the movers were great at organizing, carefully packing and moving all of my furniture and valuables to each new apartment. The men worked quickly and efficiently, even when there was no elevator in my building. Upon arrival at my new apartment they carefully reassembled anything that they had taken apart...plus putting my furniture where I asked. I have compared rates with other moving companies but Imperial Moving couldn't be beaten. I would definitely use Imperial Moving for my next move!

I had an incredibly complicated move in which I had to be out of my old apartment on a Saturday and in my new place on a Monday. I wasn't able to plan anything until the day before my move, and was turned down by a number of moving companies who were already fully booked. In a panic, I called the team at Imperial Moving. They were not only incredibly accommodating, they offered to keep my furniture in storage through the weekend. The move was quick & painless, and on top of it all, the price was about half what other moving companies had quoted me. Totally worth it. These guys made the pain that is moving a lot more bearable.

I must say, I never expected this kind of service from a moving company. I had always assumed there were no differences between moving companies and just went along with whomever gave me the cheapest price. Now I know to trust these guys whenever I need anything handled. Not only are their quotes fair, but their service is excellent! Everything was handled very fast by very nice and professional personnel. These guys know what they;re doing. They secured all my belongings down perfectly and set up everything so perfectly! I used to dread the thought of moving, but with these guys around I'll never have to worry about it again! Thanks guys!

Used them for a long distance move. The pick up and pack went fine but getting my things delivered took a week longer than they had told me. The communication between management and customer was really poor. They put my things on a truck to the wrong city and the company they outsourced the move to was unprofessional and nickel and dimed me. Then they mistakenly continued to charge me $120 a month for storage even after my move was complete.

Thanks to Mr. Daniel Nober at Imperial Moving who intervened to solve my issues amicably..I have been in the moving industry myself and with all due respect, not all things can be blamed on the company or management. I met him personally and he rectified all that went wrong.

I will recommend this business in the future.
