AMAZING ON EVERY LEVEL!. FANTASTIC PLACE! I have had two piercings here in different years, on both occasions the piercings and the jewelery were simply amazing. I looked all over NY (I am picky). Nothing compares to the quality and craftsmanship and beauty of the jewelery here. It is simply gorgeous and really well made. The piercers are very professional and informative. The piercings were not a big deal as I was talked through them. Everything about this place is of the highest quality. On top of this the people who work here are very patient and helpful. (I went back several times before deciding.)This is an OUTSTANDING place. I love it!

Extraordinarily!. Venus by Maria Tash is extraordinarily they have great service and well selection of jewelry to pick out for any kind of piercing, I went there today for the first time and you can mix n' match with different selection of jewelery and the quality is very well especially for being located in the area it is which is Noho on Broadway near Soho. I loved it though i was content with the jewelry i bought and reinserting my navel.

Great service, friendly, patient, and informative staff, beautiful jewelry.
My birthday wish this year was to get my nose pierced. Venus by Maria Tash made that wish come true and the outcome was better than I could ever dream. First, when you walk into the studio everything is clean, when I went I was the only customer in the studio so I love all the attention I was getting from the staff. The jewelry collection is pricey but it's oh so worth it as the jewelry is simply breath-taking. Yes, all the needles and gloves are brand new and they prove to you that everything has been sterilized. (I even got to keep the pen that was used to mark the spot for my piercing)What really won me over was how kind, patient, and informative the staff was with me. This was my first real piercing w/ the exception of my ear (which was pierced when I was a baby). Chris was my piercer and he is SIMPLY AMAZING!! Two thumbs up!! He was calm, experienced, kind and reassured me through the whole procedure.
Overall, If I decide to get more piercing Venus by Maria Tash is the only place I'm going to!

Great service, skillful staff, clean place!. A couple of weeks ago I went to Venus by Maria Tash Located in the East Village of NYC,to get my third ear lobe piercing. The sales person/owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answered all the questions I had about the procedure, jewelry & prices. The guy that was doing my piecing was very experienced, calm and professional. He explained to me all about the procedure step by step. The process of piercing was unexpectedly almost painless. It’s been two weeks, but the new piercing feels like the old one already, doesn’t hurt at all. The first two of my piercings were done at the different place by the gun. What a different experience!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Skillful piercers and exquisite jewelry. I'd just been to Venus' sister store location to get a catilage piercing, and it looked so beautiful I wanted a bit more. I'd heard the Maria Tash location had a wider selection of jewelry, and it does -- the pieces are all unique and beautiful, though they range from a little pricey to way-out-of-my-leauge. I picked out a pair for some second lobe piercings, and another for my cartilage, with the clerk's help. Everyone was warm and friendly, and very knowledgable about their stock. My piercer was a perfect pro, and even though I'm a huge wuss it was pretty painless, even when he had to work through some old scar tissue on my lobes. I definitely recommend this place for a clean, pain-free, comfortable experience -- as long as you're not put off by paying what it's worth.

Turned out this newcomer. I never thought of myself as the "piercing type", but after I saw the awesome jewelry here, I got my flower pierced at this place.. It was handled with absolute professionalism, discretion, speediness and to boot the guy that did it was fine as the day is long! I am looking forward to going again and recommend it to everyone I know.

Rude. Rude. Rude..
I was there to purchase body jewelry. And with the exception of Cameron (who was gracious and apologetic regarding the situation), the woman who was "helping" me was as rude and as unhelpful as she could possibly be.
This would be unacceptable anywhere — but considering their high prices and reputation I found it absolutely unbelievable.

amazing customer service!!!. I went in today very nervous after looking at their website at least once a day for the past month. I'm looking at piercing my nose but today got the second hole done in my earlobes to get a feel for what it's like. I've only been pierced by gun before and had nothing but bad experiences. Cameron gave me so much information and helped me choose studs in my price range. The actual piercing was so quick and about as painless as it could be. He was gentle, reminded me to breathe and talked me through the whole process. Today's experience was so good i highly recommend this place and will never go anywhere else!

Excellent NYC Piercings. Located in the East Village of NYC, it is a great place for piercings and/or tattoo work. Although we went for a piercing, the tattoo artists were busy at work. The tattoo artist's work looked beautiful and the store itself is super clean. Rob, the piercer was amazingly patient. After seeing so many "fly-by-night" businesses offering tattoo's and piercings all up and down St Marks, Venus is a great alternative. The staff that works at Venus were very knowledgeable and kind. They specialize in a specific job and have pride in their work. There was no "convincing" or push from them at all. Relaxing and totally non-pretentious. They actually smiled and talked to you about what you want. I would recommend Venus in a heartbeat. Thanks
