The Ultimate Salad is an Ultimate Lie. I always pass by their big poster "Ultimate Salad, unlimited toppings" and wonder if it is as good as it says. Today I finally gave it a try and got half a bowl of "Ultimate Salad" for $8. The so called Large bowl is just like other deli's regular bowl. Many toppings that are listed on their menu were not there (such as portabello mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, avocados, grilled shrimp, roasted peppers ...) The person put about one tablespoon of each topping I picked. I paid $8 for this half "large" bowl of salad and now I have to get an afternoon snack. Totally not worth it. Any other deli's round the block can give you better worth of $8.
