Sparky's Closed ! Thank God!

Sparky's on Lafayette closed by NYC BoardofHealth. as of April 11th 2008. All I can say is thank god!

This nasty place was trashy. The other reviewers were spot on! Attitude of the workers was so bad from the first week they opened. I had the same exact situation one reviewer described with the cashier just hangin on the phone! Whenever they got an order it was like the first time they ever took one. First they give you the burger then the fries come 5mins later if your lucky. Oh, and they leave them on the counter not telling you its ready. The place had a dive atmosphere... I get it fine! But man were they CHEAP when they built this silly place. Not to mention the prices in this dump for what they were dishin was ridiculous!

Don't get an attitude over your mistake.

I went to Sparky's today to order a burger. Upon return to my office I realized it was a veggie burger. I called Sparky's and requested that they bring me a new burger since I could not leave my office again. After waiting about 15 minutes I call back, and the cashier informs me that the delivery man refuses to deliver my new burger! She says she is going to walk it over herself. After about another 15 minutes with no delivery I walk back over to Sparky's. Nobody was ever planning to bring me my burger, and felt no need to inform me of this. On top of this, the man at the grill scolded me for not bringing back my receipt! I normally go to Sparky's once a week but I will not be returning after this experience. The cashier seemed like she was trying to deal with the issue in a semi-professional manner but the guy at the grill needs to get over his attitude problem and learn how to cook the food that is ordered (he also messed up the order of the customer in front of me).

• Cons: The service is horrible.

so much attitude over a weiner

I never do this... but I just came back to the office after having a hot dog as a quick lunch. NEVER would I bother to go there again to spend $3.50 on a hot dog being served by this person that would not get off the the phone, say hello, say thank you- really say anything besides singing that annoying 'When you were mine" song by C. Lauper. Some advise- if you are so unhappy with serving dogs... go serve that attitude elsewhere.
