best haircut in nyc!. I almost never actually review things, but i got such a great haircut here, that I had to! I looooved Lizzie and will recommend her to all my friends! I've been in ny for 4 years and have never gone back to a salon more than once, but definitely plan to come back here. I have very thick hair and she knew exactly how to to cut it, and I have gotten so many compliments on it in the last couple of weeks. Thanks, Lizzie!

love this place. I booked an appointment through lifebooker and am super happy with this salon. I am picky when it comes to my hair color, but Tiffany did a fabulous job and Lizzy gave me a great cut. I have gotten a lot of compliments already.

Everyone has a great attitude, I will absolutely be back

the search is over. I love this place! My hair looks like a million dollars without actually paying a fortune. Wonderland's wacky decor gives it a fun, but not snotty or overly hip, vibe. Lizzie cut my hair, she was great...listened to what I told her and gave me an amazing cut! Even the receptionists couldn't be nicer. I was about to give up hope on hair cuts after going to a zillion places in NY and not really being impressed by any of them. Thrilled to have found Wonderland, can't wait to return.

Looooove it!. Any hairdresser can have you leave the salon with a great hairdo, but it's an exceptional hairdresser that gives you a cut that looks great when you go home and have to style it yourself. It's been about two weeks since my haircut with Lizzie, and it still looks fantastic (in spite of my lackluster skills with the round brush!). Ive been to a ton of salons - from Jean Louis David to Fekkai and this is my all-time favorite cut. The salon itself is fun, relaxed, and the staff friendly. No product pushing, attitude or any of the other nasty habits of other salons. I'm so happy with the cut that I've already scheduled a color there too!

The Absolute Best Beauty Experience in the City!!!!. Michael Angelo's Wonderland is not to be missed! The decor is like no other, from the scroll cut glass mirrors and his personally designed wallpapers, to the cute boutique in the front which gives you lots to look at while you wait for your hair to process, not to mention the internet available to guests. The staff is just the BEST! I love getting my hair done there, and will never go anywhere else again!

Hair Heaven!. When I first met Michael Angelo may hair was weak, brittle, and unevenly colored. Now when I leave wonderland I feel like im stepping off of a runway. Truely the model industries secret weapon, Michael has turned my hair into a new life form. It grows faster, is softer, and has a natural refined look that few salons can achieve. The atmosphere in the salon is amazing and everyone who works there has an amazing energy. Wonderland is Wonderful!!!!

Wonderful. I decided to check out this salon after my colorist Lydia called and told me she was now working there. I must say I was very impressed. The salon is decorated beautifully and it's a great place to hang out and get your hair done. I loved my color and the whole experience. I highly recommend this salon.

beautiful salon!. Everyone from the reception to the stylists here are so friendly and unpretentious. They have a beautiful and extensive product selection, and not just hair stuff. Prices range from the reasonable up. A gem in the otherwise overexposed meatpacking district!

What a Find!. While walking around the meatpacking District last Thursday, I stumbled upon a spectacular little oasis...Michael Angelo's Wonderland Beauty palor. At first, I was drawn by the unbelievably gigantic chandelier and the blinking pink neon "Wonderland" sign. But once inside, I found a treasure trove of fun and elegance! I was given a world class tour by the friendly receptionist, who laughingly informed me his title was "Booker". Flying by the seat of my pants, I was able to see Scott who just happened to have time for my amazing new haircut! Wash and go, very little product...perfect for me! I loved the decor, the pink lemonade, the burlesque movie showing on the projector, and now I have a little crush on Scott! Good thing this is anonymous since I have another appoinment in 6 weeks. Go here and love it!
