Loyal client for 8 years

I have been a loyal client of Dr. Gerstman since 2004.

I decided to write a review now because I came across a few negative reviews about her spa they completely misrepresent her. She is an incredibly ethical physician which can be a rare find in such a competitive city. She always kept her spa small to maintain good customer relations and I adore both her aesthetician and office manager, who are both very skilled young ladies. As a fellow business owner I have learned alot from Dr. Gerstman on how to run a business that provides impeccable service. Come see for yourself and tell her Stephania sent you :)

Wonderful and very generous doctor

I went to see Dr Gerstman because she was running a great Botox promotion. First she did Botox around my eyes (no bruises) than I told her how another doctor injected juvederm under my eyes 6 months ago and how miserable I have been because I can still see little bumps. She injected under my eye with an enzyme to dissolve the juvederm ( just enough to remove the bump) and didn't even charge me extra!! Two weeks later and I am so happy. She also included a free Botox touch up which I didn't even need. I am so happy. :)

Poor, Poor Service

I scheduled there lip enhancement. Natalia took care of me instead of the doctor (Natalia is a nurse).

I was left bruises like someone punched me in the face. Brutal and poor care. In addition, there was absolutely no result in the way my lips looked and they are in the exact same volume as they were before I came.

I wrote to the clinic and was offered to come again to fix the problem, this time by the doctor herself.

After scheduling and taking days off from shootings, on my way to the appointment, half an hour before the time, I got a call that the doctor won;t be able to see me after all and she will call to re-schedule.

She never called.

I called after two weeks again, asking when will my appointment be scheduled. I was offered to see Natalia again, rather than the doctor.

I would rather pay full price again someplace else and not take their poor service approach and poor, so poor aesthetic talent. It's a NO for me.

Medical Aesthetics disappoints

I did not have a good experience with this establishment. I purchased a $150 coupon for, supposedly, a $300 service of a dermabrasion and peel. My first concern was when the aesthetician said this was an "introductory service" which is not how it was advertised. The treatment took 40 minutes in total and I was told that the "peel" would begin in a day or two and would last a few days - the result would be "glowing" skin. After no "peel" occurred after a few days, I tried calling the spa to speak with the aesthetician, who never called me back. The new receptionist did call back and said to wait another day. I followed up with an email to Dr. Gerstman explaining my dissatisfaction with the cost and lack of results. She responded by telling me that they did a "unique" peel and that I may not see any peeling on my face. I responded with another email letting her know I was given very different information from the aesthetician, which she ignored. I would not return to this spa nor would I recommend it to anyone. All I got was a pimple on my face, no peel, no glow.
