Dr. Gerstman is a gentle, caring and warm person yet totally professional and skilled in her work. She totally cleared up my acne, advised me on other treatments to enhance my natural face and dissuaded me from getting treatments that would make me look "fake". She is a true artist and I have never looked better or had such confidence. She understands the schedule of a busy mom and will bend over backwards for you to fit you in on days she is in the office. I call my facials there "going to the spa" because it is really time to relax and focus on taking care of myself. I know I am in great hands.

As a high profile actress/model I would never go to anyone accept Dr. Gerstman. She is top secret and in the 8 years since I have been seeing her she has never leaked my name to the press. I am forever grateful for her confidentiality. Medical Aesthetics is a boutique hideaway and I visit every time I am in town. Dr Gerstman is incredibly talented and humble. I absolutely adore her.

I had sun damage on my face and I tried treating it with an expensive, well reviewed, brand name cream. I had a terrible reaction to it and it left my face covered with horrible rash like scars. I have been seeing Dr. Gertsman regularly for IPL treatments and the results have been amazing. I got 2 compliments today about how my skin looks. One woman told me my skin was 'glowing.' There are always great deals and packages and the Dr. personally does all my treatments. You are also always treated well by the Dr. and her receptionist Naj. If you are looking for IPL this is the place.

I been in this place on a deal with bloomspot for Botox and Juvederm. First thing, when I called to make an appt, I was told a nurse would do the injections, (the deal was advertising the expertise and great reviews of the Dr. Gerstman, which was the reason why I bought, so I refuse to have the injections applied by anyone else and said that I would contact the bloomspot to have my money back. The next day I got a call saying the Dr itself would came to the office to do the injections. Good, she came and did her job, push me on buy some products and treatments which I didn't. Because the results of the botox and the Juvederm was really good and they had another deal for the subscribers on mailing list, I bought again the same package.

But again was the same problem to have an appt with the Dr. and this is an ongoing practice of hers, is like she don't like to came to her office to work at all.

We always hear excuses like, no good baby sitter, maternity leave, personal schedule problems and they try to push you to do your treatments with the nurse or aesthician.

I had some laser treatments done by her aesthician Elsa, but in reality I wanted her to do it as when I had the consultation she told she would do it herself on my skin, but when came the time to make an appt she was never came to the office on that week, and sometimes the girl from the reception desk don't even knew when she was gonna be available.

So my complain is for the lack of professionalism on the Dr in order to came to her work since she decide to have one.

Is the lack of management when we buy and pay our treatments and want to have they done and is nobody there to perform the treatments.

In reality I believe this Dr. don't really need to work or the money and just have this office as an excuse to say she does something when in reality she does not.

I also had packages that I bought last year and was informed that they were gonna close and I had to finish my package by the end of the year ( bad idea as is the time were everybody is so busy with holidays planning and all), end up that they just moved the location.

Then Elsa, that is the aesthician that actually go to work everyday quit and besides her is nobody there working on daily basis, and when I asked the girl from the front desk when I could have my treatments schedule to continue be done, she told me that she had no idea when and if the Dr would work???? How about the money that I already paid???

Then the Dr star to run "deals" on the mailing list, that is not really deals as the prices go higher than last year and much higher than a lots of other places in the city that actually have somebody working....

I believe she try to sell out these so called "deals" to collect the money and then do the job if so whenever she please....easy way to collect money.

i just had a wonderful experience at this establishment that i would like to share. I am getting married next Tuesday and I have terrible acne on my forehead. I called Medical Aesthetics today in a panic and begged for the doctor to see me. The receptionist said that the doctor was fully booked but that she would speak to the doctor to see what she could do. 15 later she called and said the doctor could see me during her lunch break. The doctor and receptionist were both so kind to me. The doctor spend 60 min with me. She did an Isolaz treatment, tons of extractions, and a calming mask.

All my whiteheads and black heads are gone and my skin is not as red. But most importantly, Medical Aesthetics, was so kind to me and made me feel better emotionally. I have been crazy planning my wedding! I will be back after my honeymoon. Thank you sooo much Dr. Gerstman and Naj!!

I bought a groupon voucher to see another doctor uptown to do my lips. The results were awful. Uneven and way too big. My coworker demanded I call dr Gerstman to fix my problem. I called and got an appointment for the next day.

She calmed me down and used some kind of enzyme to dissolve the juvederm. Two days later it was 80% better and after 1 week I was back to normal. Thank god!! She only charged me $50 which was the cost of the enzyme. I am forever thankful !!! I don't look like a freak anymore.

Unique boutique medical spa. Very intimate. Dr. Gerstman is a perfectionist. Her receptionist is very professional. Easy to book appointments online. Always runs on time. Very calm and relaxing environment. Competitive pricing. I get Botox and juvederm done and the results are always very natural looking. Dr. Gerstman is also very gentle. Between the nice conversation, calming music, aromatherapy, and great numbing cream, the experience is quite enjoyable despite the needles:)

As a native New Yorker I've been to many medical spas in the tri-state area and this is the first place Ive left feeling like my money was well spent! I came for botox and was considering juvederm -- I ended up getting it here because she had such great prices! She used just the right amount of botox and one syringe and I already look ten years younger! I would definitely recommend this place - calming environment, peaceful music and a new young face!
