Not recommend , doctor orientation to money

I did my LASIK last year with non blade, I did recommend to my friend and she did the LASIK there after I told her that non blade LASIK was very good , because about 2 or 3 years before other friend did the LASIK with blade base the result so painful and the recovery took longer, so I told her this place was good and now the technology very good because they offer you non blade procedure.

So I company her on the end of December so she can do the LASIK , we talk to management mr Thai after my friend did the check up and tour around the machine they said they will use for my friend .

We went to the office where we talk about the price with mr Thai , after we talk around 10 minutes, mr Thai give the deal, He said he will do the procedure for my friend same as me, which is no blade LASIK. So my friend so happy and agree with mr Thai term, he asked her to choose Monday or Tuesday, which is not to busy day .

After the LASIK day my friend did called me, she said the LASIK was oke but she felt the doctor only used one machine not two like I told her base by my experience, and she said she feel very very dry next they.

But after two weeks she still bring her friend to have check up there, that's when she so surprised when she hear the doctor said that her eyes was blade base LASIK that's why they give her good price, and if she one to do non blade LASIK she can pay 500 more and they can do non blade LASIK one more time, what kind of doctor said that .

We trust you with our eyes , eyes is our life , we even sign contract if something happened to our eyes we can't do anything. But you lie and risk our eyes, you are doctor not God.

I've done the surgery at manhattan lasik center by recommendation of my friend. She did hers there too. I went there for the consultation with her as well. At the time for consultation, I was told that my case is an easy case, that I qualified to the Lasik not PRK. It was a good news for me coz the recovery time is faster.

The day of the consultation, we talked to Thai (the finance consultant), he told us that I'm gonna use the same doctor and the same method/technology as my friend had, which is the intralase (bladeless) method for the surgery with Dr. Niksarli.

The surgery itself went well, I can see the next day, my vision just like 90% and the doctor said, it will be getting better and better.

2weeks after that, I had the follow-up schedule, Dr. Niksarli did the check-up, at that time I just know that he did my surgery with the 'blade-base' method, I told him that Thai didn't say anything about that, that we agreed to use the intralase like my friend did. And Dr. Niksarli said with the price that I paid, it can't do with the intralase technology, only with the 'standart' method.

What make me even sick is, he said like this " if u want to do the intralase not the blade-base , its fine, u just have to pay $500 more, and I can get it done for u, I can do another surgery for u immediately with the laser technique, if u prefer like that."

I just responded, "how come u gonna do another lasik surgery after u did it just in 2 weeks?" He didn't even answer my question. I was so angry that I didn't want to say anything, and I just to leave as soon as possible.

I don't know if u allow to have the lasik surgery twice in that short time or not, but my point is, he is a doctor, a doctor that I trust my eyes, my vision in his hands. How come he said something like that!!!

I felt cheated, first coz Thai didn't say anything to me and he just put me under the 'standart' procedure while I asked for the intralase.

This guys really just into the bussiness. Money orientation only, maybe they don't even think the people who go over there as patients.

I went there with my friend who got her eyes checked coz she wants to do the lasik as well. She was there with me when Dr. Niksarli said that to me. At our way home, she told me that she is not gonna do the lasik there especially with Dr. Niksarli, she doesn't have any respect to that kind of doctor!

Well...so far I have 5 friends who want to do the lasik, but sorry MLC, u just lost potential 'customers', thanks for your proffesionalism!!

I love it. The doctors and staff at Manhattan Lasik Center were extremely professional and reassuring. I had a very quick and painless experience and felt comfortable the whole time. While the procedure itself was a little scary, the results were amazing. After only a few hourd of mild discomfort my eyes felt fine and the next morning I could see almost perfectly. Thanks Manhattan Lasik.

great experience. My whole experience in Manhattan Lasik Center was very satisfying. From the very first consultation, I was very happy with the staff and the service prodvided. I am extremely happy with my surgery. The staff was very thorough in explaining how everything would work and it seems like see the technology used in top of the line. Manhattan Lasik center is the best.

the best decision of my life. The experience here at Manhattan Lasik Center was by far the greatest decision I made. Having this surgery has change my life for the better. Everyone here at the center is very polite and warm-hearted. I liked how easy and painless the surgery was. The staff here made me feel very comfortable and that is why I chose Manhattan Lasik Center. It is definately one of the best experience of my life.

phenomenal. My morning routine will never be the same. It is remarkable, exciting and joyous to be able to see. Honestly it's difficult to articulate how wonderful it feels, but once you've had Lasik you will understand what i mean.

Overall my experience with Manhattan Lasik Center was phenomenal. The staff was friendly, hospitable and professional. They assisted me every step of the way from my initial consultation, to insurance questions and all the way through and after the procedure. I have friends that are on the fence about Lasik, but i can honestly say that if your doctor says you are a candidate for Lasik jump on the diagnosis and have it done. It is an eye opening experience and it's the best feeling!

Thank you Manhattan Lasik. I am so thankful and happy.

It is amazing.. A few days ago, I came in for a free consultation to see if iwas candidate for LASIK. The staff on hand was amazing. They were very professional in area of measuring procedure. On the day of the procedure, they gave me a few consent form to fill out. The remeasured my eyes that moring, and I escorted into the room. I can't remember her name, but she was very nice. Her and I started to speak about comics and games while waiting for the surgeon. During the surgery, I felt a little pressure on my eye that only lasted about 10-15 seconds on each eye. As the doctor was going through the procedure, he was telling me what my eyes was going to experience. His assistant and him kept telling me I was doing fine and/or great. I feel that that kind of bedside manner is important, especially if a patient is awake during the process. I thank the entire staff for this wonderful experience.

MLC changing my life. Manhattan Lasik Center did a great job on fixing my vision for good once and for all. My entire experience was great, easy and painfree. I did feel a silly discomfort after surgery, ( c'mon it is a surgery ) but it does get better and don't feel any discomfort at all by next morning after I woke up . Thanks to the entire friendly staff and doctors to changing my life.

My nice experience in Manhattan Lasik Center. I just had my surgery here. The staff has been super nice and helpful. The experience of getting the pracedure done was painless and the docto was super gentle. His bedside manner was every comforting. I would have liked to meet my doctor prior to the procedure to ease my last nerves and concerns, but I was definitely fine as I was having procedure done. Right now I have had no pain, And my verison is nice and clear.

manhattan lasik center. I did my surgery at the manhattan lasik center in 2006. Everything went very well. They always treat all their customers like family. Since, my surgery I also referred people here, and everything always turn out good. So they know how to treat their customers, look no further this is the best lasik place in nyc.
