Wandered into this gem while searching the West Village on a recent Sat nite. I found the food to be awesome. I got the roasted chicken au jus over mashed potatoes and my girlfriend got the croque-monsieur. Both were delicious, while my dish may have been the most tasty chicken I've eaten in some time. Oh, the sauce! Tables were pretty much full until at least 1030-11 p.m. One downside was service was a bit slow (although the waiter was awesome). When I got up to check on a glass of wine my girlfriend had ordered, the waiter came over with two glasses - on the house! Now that's my kind of place. They admit to the mistake and want to make good. I'm a harsh critic but this place blew me away. I will be returning very soon.
