Named for the fanciful hallucinations that arise from too much drink, this lush nighttime playground's hedge-lined entrance hallway hints at the highly manicured design to come. Inside, polished silver buckets gleam beneath chandeliers strung with pearls, and leafy vines crawl along the curvaceous walls. Plush bottle service alcoves undulate and encircle a small, sunken dance floor, which is fueled by house music and an aromatic scent machine that secretes libido-sparking hormones along with its flowery smells.

I don't go out often but had a great time at Pink Elephant. For once a club that didn't try to rip me off. Went at 11.30 on a Sat night when it opened. Joked around with the bouncer, seemed like a nice guy. $20 cover and $12 drinks is actually pretty reasonable. No stupid "recovery charge" plus 20% tip added to the bar tab like they did at Tenjune. The party filled-up by 12.30 and rocked through the small hours, but never so crowded that you couldn't get around.
To the reviewer below, of course it's small. That's the point. If it were large they'd have to let in lots of people there that you don't want.

Pink elephant is a must. On Fashion week, Mickey ROURKE, Forest Whitaker were there! Stunning night club!
Still a good reference for tourists and newyorkers.

The Pink elephant takes the pretentious New York club seen to a whole new level. I went with a group of friends on a Saturday night for a bridal party. We had booked a table to make this night special for my friend. When we got there they told the white woman in are group who booked that party that we where not allowed in because “they where over there quota of black people” In a group of 10 woman only 3 of use where African-American. I can believe that a club would turn away a party of ten girls who booked a table and bottle severs because there where to many black people.
- Pros: It is in NYC But so aren’t a lot of clubs
- Cons: If you don’t look like a girl from The hills don’t bother
