The Cold War provides a steamy design template for this East Village spot, hung with kitschy Communist portraits, propaganda, red lights galore and other remnants of the Iron Curtain. Mix that together with the rotating porn displayed on video screens, random taxidermy (think zebra heads and boars), plus slick bronze poles for go-go dancers, and you've got the gay bar equivalent of a Molotov cocktail.

- The owners are often manning the bar, so be nice and maybe they'll buy you a round.

Bring your friends!

I loved the place, its a mix of all, love the way the owners express their diverse individuality through the decor and the environment. This is a place where you bring your friends to start off the evening and you end up staying the whole night(getting really drunk) I love the vibe. you should just relax and become one with the surrounding. This was one place where i didn't feel nervous when i entered. Most fun i had in a long time.
- Pros: If you let your self enjoy it, you will love it, amazing feal to the place.
- Cons: could get crowded sometimes.

Bartenders will rip you off

Lackluster drink and bartender ripped me off $10. Reminds me why I had stopped going to gay bars, and regretted having tried this place. There are better and more honest places in New York.

I love this new place. The east village really needed this. Sexy but not gross. Frisky boys, good music. Definately worth a visit.
