The New Standard In Nightlife Luxury

  • Live Music
  • Private Parties Welcome
  • Huge Main Dance Floor

Element is one of the most stunning venues in NYC. This Tri-level nightlife playground is a marvel of form and function, featuring three full-service bars, a V.I.P mezzanine, and seductive lounge spaces. The lower level vault, with private areas throughout, can be part of the main party, or a separate event with it's own state of the art sound system. The Main room is crafted for one single purpose -- dancing! On Elements vast hardwood dance floor, crystal clear tones flow from a 36,000 Watt, world class sound system, transforming even the most timid soul into the most frenzied exhibitionist. From a small intimate gathering of 50 people in the Vault, to a full blown extravaganza with 1000 people over the course of the night, Element can accommodate any size function. Whatever the event, having it at Element will assure it will be both classy and sexy, with a hint of downtown cool.

Editorial Review for Element – by Katie Heffernan

In Short
Rich golden spotlights illuminate the classical building--and the club's lines winding around the intersection of Essex and Houston. Through the door are two choices: the thick of the soaring-ceilinged dance pit, or the spacious open mezzanine, where often-famous DJs spin from a catwalk podium and bystanders survey the action below. The understated elegance of texturized metals and painted woods is lost on the grooving masses, but is most apparent at Vault, the offshoot lounge downstairs.

We paid extra in advance to get to the VIP section for my bachelorette party. It turns out everyone is "VIP". Our seats were behind a pole and we couldn't see any of the show! Plus, even though we had paid in advance, they still charged us an extra $20 a person, and we missed a portion of the show arguing with them! Plus, we missed even more of the show because the two groups in front of us had the same issue, and they made everyone behind them on line wait while the issue was resolved!

Pros: The Hunk-A-Mania show is really funny and great for Bachelorette Parties

Cons: Fake VIP Section, horrible managers, terrible line (they don't care how much of the show you miss!)

This place is AWFUL! The people at the door are so rude that it was shocking. I have lived in NYC for 7 years and as a woman, have not received such rude treatment, not even at some of the more exclusive clubs in meatpacking! I also think the $25 cover is very steep. It was pretty late (around 2am) when my 2 friends and I arrived, yet they insisted that we still had to pay the cover even though we were not going to stay that long. As we were deciding what we were going to do, one of the bouncers told us we could not stand there and told us to go out in the rain to figure things out (even though there was no one in the entrance and we were not blocking anyone). SO RUDE!!
