A Bathing Ape
Japanese street style and hip-hop flavor come together at this Soho sneaker store..
In Short
A Bathing Ape (commonly referred to as Bape) rose to popularity with limited runs of bright shoes in wild colors like neon green and purple, all sporting the brand's signature star. The U.S. flagship store, opened by Japanese designer Nigo and Neptunes' producer Pharrell, displays its treasured sneakers in glass cases in both the luxe upstairs area and downstairs where mirrors, etched glass and smooth white surfaces abound. Hip kids from around the world peruse the funky men's and women's collection including sleeveless camo hoodies, corduroy button-downs and premium denim.

You get what you pay for.. bape is consistently ahead of the game. if you want cheaper prices, wait about 4 years and head towards chinatown for the plethora of knockoffs.
what the hell?. ok they had like 15 shirts to choose from. the prices are outrageous!! understandably a hip place for those in the know, but...we knew..and refused to pay $75 bucks for a simple t shirt with a silk screen graphic...come on guys, its obvious you are trying to keep commoners out.
