In Short – In a quiet, sun-soaked studio nestled above 14th Street, new mothers coax their tummy muscles back into shape after giving birth. A fully-equipped studio for private sessions, as well as post-pregnancy Pilates mat classes and a six-week group series, are offered to center the maternal mind and body, and the resource center stocks informative materials on motherhood. For women who are not mothers, beginner, intermediate and advanced classes are also held.

Best pilates instructor

This studio has the best instructor I've ever worked with (lived also in LA and Chicago). Very knowledgeable and not condescending! Centered is a place to go if you are serious about pilates (and not the fake pilates or yoga-pilates) and don't want a beefy gym atmosphere. It's great.

Beautiful Space, Amazing Teacher

I'm addicted - love their pilates and love their discussion groups. I feel relaxed just walking into the beautiful loft, and I feel like I've gotten an amazing workout by the time I leave. After visiting many gyms and pilates studios after first moving to this city I can confidently say Karrie is the best teacher I have found in NYC, hands down!!

Just discovered this great new studio! Most convenient location - great class schedules. Karrie is a master teacher, love her newest book on post-pregnancy pilates.
