In Short
Opening on one of the neighborhood's last gritty blocks is a chic spot for affordable French wines. Large sidewalk windows brighten the cafe-like front, but the room's rustic touches become more luxe as the bar stretches back to an almost medieval lounge. Kerosene candles and filament-glowing chandeliers illuminate chocolate leather couches, arching brick ceilings and cabinets stocked with wine. Cheap bottles and $5 glasses--hard to find in French wines--pair well with artisinal nibbles from the countryside.

I took a good friend out for her bachelorette party and I could not be happier. The service was awesome and the food and wine amazing. While the wine list doesn't have a large selection available by the glass, it is enough to be interesting. You can spend upwards of $100 for a bottle of wine but they also have some that are around $20 a bottle. The food portions are great, especially if you want to try multiples to share (which I recommend). Try the quiche!!! All told, this place was amazing and I can't wait to go back!!

This has to be arguably one of the best wine bar's around. First off the service is excellent and even on packed nights they will hurry to get you seated. Jadis has a great mix of red and white wines at affordable prices. You can get a good bottle from $22-40. The atmosphere is cozy with dim lighting and surrounded by brick. They play a great mix of music at a sound you can still have a conversation. Every time I go I bring new friends there and they are pleased with the overall experience. Even their cheese platters are good!! This is a place to go to relax, drink and enjoy a good conversation. Highly recommended!!

I threw a birthday party on a Saturday at Jadis. The owners/managers were very accomodating and eager to please, there was a good amount of space and seats for the number of people we had, and the bottles were pretty good (and quite affordable). I would highly recommend this wine bar if you're looking for chill place to hang out with your friends.
