Loved the unpretentious atmosphere. I threw my bf a bday party here recently. The manager was very helpful with the planning. You can reserve a table and bottle service is not required. I did get bottle which was relatively cheaper than the neighborhood lounges/clubs. The manager came over more than the waitress to make sure everything was ok. The birthday boy and our guests had a really good time. So did the bachelorette party next to us. No cover and reasonably priced drinks. I would highly recommend this place for planning parties. =D

DJ is awesome, Bar tender is AWESOME- made custom drinks for me on the spot. The place is not that big but was great for my husband's 26th bday party. We got a nice seated area reserved for free right near the DJ. the place got packed way after midnight. Drinks were great i asked the bartender to make me something sweet and with blueberry and he made me an awesome blue martini - I don't know what he made it with he said he just made it up, it was great! Staff was really nice and the manager was great and generous. The dance floor was packed...This was probably the only party i've ever been at til closing (4am) and had to actually be "kicked out" lol. Beware of the doorman...something is off about him.

Cool lounge with so-so music.
Discovered this lounge last weekend with a group of friends. Its very nice in the inside. Very clean and elegant. Only problem I had was with the music. I'm a firm believer that the music absolutely makes the venue. I have been to hole in the wall venues where the DJ was great and it saved the venue. The DJ at Ice was nothing special. His song selection was a little weird. He would change genres from one song to the next. The DJ would go from one good song to one really bad song.
I would still recommend this place to anyone that is looking to enjoy a nice looking venue and enjoy nice service. Definitely are not coming here for the music.

Lots of Dance Space, Awesome Music.
Went to Ice Bar last night for a friend's bday. Had a great time. For a lounge, there was a ton of room to dance. Drinks were also pretty strong. The DJ they had was terrific. He played mostly hip-hop and r+b, but I did hear some 80's music as well as a couple of house songs. He kept people dancing all night. He didn't play one bad song. He definitely gets a thumbs up.
I plan to come back hear in the future. Had a fun time.

Amazing bar. Had a birthday party this past weekend at Ice Bar and it was great! Leo was very accomodating and made sure everything was taken care of for my friends. no waiting in line, great music, great staff. definitely recommend Ice Bar for a party.

Awesome place to have a party!. I had been to Ice last year for a friend's party and liked it a lot, so I decided to have my birthday party here this year. Another great experience; I picked the place specifically because it had no cover charge and the atmosphere/music was great. Ice didn't disappoint, the bouncer at the door was really cool, and the manager was really awesome as well. I brought over 30 people for my party and the place still wasn't overcrowded, unlike other places such as Boulevard. Everyone in my party was telling me the place was great, they would go back again. I even got to meet people from a different party that was next to us. The manager even told me that they didn't have their regular DJ there that day, and I enjoyed the music a lot. Check out this place if you want to have a good time.

Great Environment, Different & Better DJ. I have been to Ice before. Prolly 2-3 times before. Each time I was impressed with the quality of establishment and how friendly the staff were. The only negative in the past was the music. The DJ in the past wasn't bad, but he didn't really have the party pumping and people dancing. This past saturday, it was a different DJ and the energy in the lounge was remarkably different. This DJ was playing so many party anthems. He went from current and older hip-hop, to some house and even did a couple of 80's sets. Generally in lounges, people tend to stand around and just mingle, but here almost everyone was dancing the entire time. My friends and I stayed for about 3 hours because were really enjoyed the quality of the music. The DJ even took requests and generally played the songs we wanted immediately after asking, everytime actually mixing in each song. If you want to have a good time and enjoy a good DJ, Ice is the place to go.

Ice Bar - perfect birthday venue. I had my birthday party here this past Saturday night. From the moment I called, the whole planning process was easy and pleasant. Upon arriving, my guests and I were treated nicely, which is refreshing in the city. The DJ played a steady stream of bangers causing even some non-dancing friends of mine to get up. The service was impeccable - noone waited at the bar for a drink for more than a minute. And the staff was friendly from the bouncer to the bartender to the coatcheck people. I got calls from so many friends telling me what a perfect venue I chose for my party and how nice everyone there was. I definately recommend this place for a birthday party - there's great space, fun music, and though there are people, it's not packed. I would totally go just to have some cocktails and dance on a random night.

Great DJ, Classy Lounge.
I was hanging out with a group of friends last night in the LES area. Went to a couple of lounges and bars and stumbled upon Ice Bar. The no cover was a pleasant surprise. I was very impressed by the entire venue. It seems a little out of place in the LES. Very classy and very elegant. The doorman was very nice and the bartenders were very helpful. The music was AWESOME!!! The DJ was a young looking spanish guy (he literally looked like he could be 17 years old LOL). He played party jam after party jam. He mixed up hip-hop with some 80's/classics, reggae and even some party rocking house music. I have been to almost every big and small club/lounge in NYC and he is one of the best DJs I have heard in quite a long time.
All in all, this place gets a huge thumbs up and I will definitely be back.
