DONT GO HERE!. I love threading - I am less allergic to it then waxing. I came here, a few times and they did a ok job, not the best, but ok. The fact is its convenient location in midtown and cheap. I am going to Europe next week to visit my boyfriend, and decided to come here again, as time was limited. The woman who was doing my threading this time, Usha, was talking to other women in the salon every 2 minutes - giving me very little amount of attention. She was fast and haphazard. My face was completely swollen -- more then every before, i.e. I had clear skin entering, I looked WORSE than any point of being a teenager! I usually get irratition from anything on my face but not this was absolutely the worst. She said it would last a few hours, its the day after and I look like I have smallpox and cuts on my face. I leave in several days, and hope some of this disappears. unless you like risks, DONT GO HERE. Walk the extra few blocks or pay the extra dollars, and unless you want to be a hermit in your room, i recommend NO!

For the best eyebrow shape see Abhi!!!!!. Perfect Shape is a great threading salon and is conveniently located for us midtown working gals! I highly recommend seeing Abhi for all your threading and waxing needs! She will make you feel comfortable and she will be gentle. I've never had a bad experience!

Great Waxing!. A friend recommended Abhi for a bikini wax. I had NEVER been waxed before. So that is nerve wracking enough! Plus, I am a plus size girl, another concern for me. I am very modest but I wanted to experience the feeling of a brazilian, everyone says it's the best and so much easier. I went to Abhi & told her my concerns. She was VERY nice & VERY professional. She guided me through the process and though it was painful, it didn't hurt as much as I imagined it would. She was very quick about it. I've heard many women say that a brazilian can take up to 45 mins. This was my first time and she was done in 20-25 mins. Yet still very thorough. I highly reccommend Abhi for waxing, especially for the timid girls. She is nice, clean, professional. All that you would want for an experience like this! Plus the prices are Very Reasonable!

Great Place. I've been going to Perfect Shape for a while now and I've always had great service!!!! Even when it comes to more intimate waxing its very professional. Would recommend to anyone!!!!

Good place if you've got nowhere else to go. So, I am regular at Shobha Madison and I wanted to see if there was a different threading salon I could go to that is in midtown, during my lunch break. I went to Perfect for the first time today and was disappointed. They don't take appointments for eyebrow threading and the girl Abhi, whom everyone recommended was really rough on my skin. She missed a ton of hair and I had to tell her to re-do my eyebrows again. I think this is a place I would go to if it were an emergency, but even then, I would re-consider. Now, I realize why Shobha is more expensive, you pay for what you get.

Great eyebrow spot for the Midtown crowd!. I'm very picky when it comes to my eyebrows, as I'm sure most women are. I go to b'lyn to get them done by someone I've been going to for YEARS! The problem: I'm based in Manhattan, so it's hard to get there regularly. I decided to try Perfect Shape b/c I work near Rock Center. Never had them threaded before, so I was a bit nervous. SANA did my brows, quickly and perfectly! I was very pleased with the results, and would recommend Perfect Shape to anyone who works in and around Rock Center.

when is Abhi there?. Does anyone know what days Abhi works on? I've gone on the weekend and she is never there. Is there anyone else there that you would recommend going to?

Very Pleased. I am a very picky person when it comes to beauty spots. But when my usual eyebrow spot closed for renovations (and my back up eyebrow lady booked solid), I had to venture out. I discovered this salon on my way into the office one day and thought that a threading salon on the same level as the subway, can't be good. But desperate times forced me to go there today. I followed the advice of other reviewers and asked for ABHI.....and I was very pleased. She was very thorough and did an excellent job very quickly. And for 8 bucks....it was more than worth it. I will definitely go back.

great customer service. this place is awesome.they are so nice and sweet every one welcomes u and greetes u especially the girls who do threading they are so fast and quick and not too expensive

Good place for threading. I used to go to Shobha's to get my eyebrows waxed and although they do an outstanding job, $15 is a pretty big price to pay. Perfect Shape does it for $8!!! Ask for ABHI, she's the best. Some of the other women there don't clean up your brows enough. Friday lunch hours can be busy, with a 10 minute wait so try to go on the weekdays or at non-peak hours.
