What a gem!. What a gem! I found this place after getting a LuxeNow nail salon gift card from my dear friend (check it out, love it! www.luxenow.co.m ) Everything inside is spotless and fresh - from the pedicure chairs to the nail color selection to the decor. The staff was delightful! My manicure was perfect and I paid for an extra mini massage was incredible enough to make me want to come back for a full hour massage. Seems like it would be perfect for a quick mani/pedi at your lunch hour, a great spot to take a client or a group of girlfriends. They also do a ton of spa stuff at very reasonable prices.

Friendly and competent. I checked this place out because they’re near me and I recently received a Luxe Now Gift card (it’s interesting..you can use it at hundreds of nail salons around the city…so convenient!) They are so friendly and do such a good job that I will be coming here for as long as I work in the area. The services are pretty much on par with everywhere else in Manhattan,, but I've had so many horrible experiences getting my nails done.

No way. Do not even try to get your nails done here. The staff is rude and don't speak english. There is nothing more rude than six girls talking in their language right in front of you. Who knows what they were saying... well, they could have been talking about me. The manicure: not even and pedicure? I could have done it myself and better.

worst and rudest service ever. I live close to Serenity and decided to get a manicure. The lady who did my nails was so rushed that she failed to cut all of my cuticles and the ones that she did cut, she tore open. The polish job was sloppy and uneven. When I returned the following day to have it fixed, the hostess was rude and unapologetic. When the same lady attempted to fix my nails, she cut my cuticles too close and tore them open twice. Then after she finished while I was sitting at the nail dryers, she called me a "crazy person" very loud to the hostess and they all began to laugh. Overall it was a terrible revision to an already terrible manicure. And quite possibly the worst service I have ever experienced at a nail salon.

Slow waxers; lack of employee tact. I've tried this place a few times for waxing and they did a good job, but each time (and each with a different woman) it took twice as long as at other salons of similar pricing. Plus, the last time I went, the waxer made an awkward, inappropriate, and embarrassing joke about the procedure. Needless to say I won't be going back.

Not the usual dive.. Heads and tails above all other nail spas in the area. Beautiful. Clean. Friendly. Try the spa pedicure where they incorporate a treatement that removes dead skin...no razors necessary. Leaves feet very soft. Haven't tried anything but mani/pedi so far though. Will make this my "regular" place!

WORST BIKINI WAX!!! DO NOT GO!. I have been getting bikini waxes for years now; I have had good and bad experiences but was by far the worst wax I have ever gotten. Not only did it take an excessively long amount of time, it was BEYOND PAINFUL. I was in pain for days, my skin was burned, irritated and I was left with so many ingrown hairs that the next salon I went to was dismayed. DO NOT GO! DO NOT GO! DO NOT GO!!!!

Fast, Clean and Affordable. Since I moved from Boston a year ago I have been trying to find a clean, nonsketchy and affordable place to get a mani/pedi. I finally found it! Nail places in this city are a dime a dozen but not all are what they are cracked up to be. I found Serenity to be friendly, clean, fast and affordable. What more could you ask for! If your looking for a great pedicure without catching someone's nasty foot fungus then this is the place for you :)

Editorial Review. Eastside beauty spot pampers the skin with facials, microdermabrasion and more, while pampering the body with massage, reflexology and waxing.
