We received a letter stating 24-7 Security had been sold to a Connecticut company called Security First due to the previous owner's health issues. The new ownership has been extremely attentive to us and we highly recommend them.
Pros: Excellent customer service. We are glad we stayed with them
Cons: A minor lapse in service while the company was being sold.

We initially received amazing attention and service from 24-7 Security. Their quote was very competitive and the rep was friendly and attentive. They installed the system and came back several times for small service calls. About 3 months into our 1 year contract, they stopped returning calls. It seems they disappeared off of the face of the earth. For 4 months now we have been unable to get any calls or emails returned. They still have voicemail but do not respond to messages. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I don't know what happened, but they have left us with an unfulfilled contract and should NOT BE TRUSTED! We are now spending money to have a different company come in to fix things that were supposed to be covered under our contract with 24-7 Security. In a nutshell, they are shady, unreliable, and unscrupulous, and I hope that Karma has its way with them soon!
Pros: great prices
Cons: they don't fulfill their promises (or even call you back!)
