The Worst Employer

Sorry to burst your bubble everyone, but working for E.I.C. Agency is a nightmare. I applied for an internship and was accepted for an interview, but received a slew of nasty e-mails from their COO, Sanford Wilk.

First, it was for an editorial internship, where the writing I did would be used in their articles, newsletters etc. But the internship was full time and unpaid. Under U.S. labor laws, any time a company hires you and uses your work--they are required BY LAW to pay you. E.I.C. demands that their interns work 40 hour weeks for no pay.

Second, Wilk demands that everyone receives academic credit for an internship; you can't even show up to the interview without the papers in hand. When I e-mailed him to say that I couldn't receive academic credit , he replied to me that I had wasted his time and that he was adding me to an inter-agency blacklist. Might I remind him that he was actively recruiting me for my resume.

This man and agency is of the most unprofessional of its kind, the rudest, strangest and nastiest out there! One must wonder how he treats potential clients? All I can say is, DO NOT intern for this company--it will be the worst internship experience you will have.

when I came to EIC my whole website was done but I was stuck in a rut with the design of my logo. I asked them for help on this and they really managed to deliver. They managed to put themselves in my shoes and come up with a logo that I am very happy with!

Great business cards

I went to them to help design and make business cards for me because i was tired of the plain white cards with info. I wanted something snazzier and i got something that awesome and still managed to be tasteful. I am very happy with them

EIC is a competent company. They stay on the job. And because I cooperated my website was up and running in no time. I enjoyed working with them.

EIC did an amazing job designing for my website. I loved the design ideas they sent to me. They kept me up to date with everything they were doing, and made sure I approved of all they were putting on my site. I’m very pleased with their work!
