Hints of New York's original club suffuse this Southampton space--the same wood paneling and silver bucketed banquettes--but there's no mistaking it as Hamptons-based. The center of the action is a faux beach stretching along the expansive outdoor deck, where individually heat-controlled cabanas overlook the Capri Hotel's night-glowing pool as intoxicating beauties and beach-blonde waitresses in white mini-skirts flit about. Also borrowed from Manhattan: the famed pheromone-shooting scent machine (topped off with cold-blast and snow makers).

My friend and I who are two exceptionally looking African-American women have had nothing but problems at this place. We have been to the NYC Pink Elephant several times. I am not the type to throw the "R-word" but there is no other word to describe how the short doorman treated us. We were clearly ignored and looked over as he let in droves of women in tank tops, jeans and flip flops while we were dressed very classy. Trust me when I say we are not unattractive girls. We were willing to pay and were told "ok, its $20 each (full price), but you can only circle around outside, you cannot go inside"....the nerve!!! There was another guard who took one look at us and began to open up the rope to let us in and literally the short doorman lunged in between the rope and told him not to let us through. We've been told by other staff that this guy is a problem and have been apologized to by everyone else but him. Please tell me what you would have against two good looking girls prancing around your club? The only thing I think of is that somewhere down the line this man was dumped by a beautiful black woman and still has not gotten over it. If you look nothing like what i've described, go and have a wonderful time...but if you can relate to what i've just said, don't even waste your time.

Had a wonderful time saturday night with Marco! What a great club. Just like the NYC club. And I never write reviews. Stay at the Capri Hotel for a VERY interesting experience into the dark side of the hamptons! ;)
Pros: yummy waitresses
Cons: funny doorman dressed
