CLOSED. This place is closed and is apparently re-opening as Harmony in "May" as their answering service said, but as it's May 20th I'm guessing that isn't happening. If anyone knows any info, please post!

Best facial. I had a facial with Martha. She is THE BEST!!!!!!! Extraction wasn't painfull,she has great heands for massage, even after a long time I feel amazing. The facial was benefitial and I can spend any money to get a facial with her. She has a big knowlege of products. I highly recommend her and only her for a facial!!!!

Fabulous Yonka Facials at extremely reasonable prices. I had a classic European Facial here last month and my skin improved drastically, overnight! I'd not used Yonka products before but was really impressed by these (this is the line that this spa uses) and by the professionalism of this spa. Its tucked away, don't be put off by the surrounding location, but when you get inside and upstairs its just lovely and extremely relaxing. I think the prices compared to other NYC day spas I've visited are extremely reasonable. My facial was a really good extraction facial, which I was well in need of, as opposed to some spas which when they give you a 'facial' which is actually just a glorified face-pack and a scalp rub, which frankly you can do yourself in your own apartment. This facial really improved my skin and I'm making a monthly occurance it was that good. Strongly reccommended.

Most FABULOUS Spa-Exceptional Brazillians!. I have gone to other spa's and both-Alicia and Christina-do the BEST Brazillian ever!! THE ESCAPE BRAZILLIAN IS THE MOST RECOMMENDED! The ladies are very detailed and careful....I have not had one bad experience in the almost 2 years they've been waxing me. Friendly Service, extremely clean and relaxing! The Spa might be a little out of my way but its WELL WORTH the trip.

Fantastic brazilian!. After reading all the rave reviews about Alicja, I decided to go get a brazilian and see if she was really as increible as everyone claimed - and she was! I was very hesitant at first as I have never gotten a brazilian before, but Alicja explained what she would do, what type of wax is best, and was incredibly professional and kind throughout the experience. I give her a 100% recommendation!

Nobody's Better. I hesitate to write this review since it will only make it harder for me to get an appointment but I can't resist letting NY women know that this place is the BEST place for waxing in the city. Both Christina and Alicja are amazing with eyebrows and their Brazilian bikini wax is a painless as it can be. They are fast and efficient and complete professionals.

The spa is very clean and lovely, the ambience is relaxing and very calming - as soon as you step in there you enter an oasis and forget you are in midtown.

I love this place and can't say enough good things about it. I always leave there happy and feeling great.

Escape with Alicia. This was my first time getting a brazilian and Alicia came with the highest recommendation. I must say she lived up to it 100%. She was FANTASTIC! She was very quick, yet as gentle as one can be during this sort of "procedure".

Escape itself is a beautilful place. Very comforting, tranquil and a very friendly staff. Dont be fooled by the outside because once you go in, its a whole new world. I plan on getting a facial soon because I loved it so much.

If I ever get the courage for a brazilian again....I'm not going anywhere but to Alicia at Escape!

Wonderful Spa. Escape spa is fantastic. I have been going to Alicja for years. The waxing is superb, she really takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. Manis and Pedis by both Julia and Marta are wonderful. Much better than going to a standard pedi shop on the street. My feet leave feeling so smooth and the polish lasts for weeks! Haven't tried a massage or facial yet but have an appt set up for next week and I can't wait. Would definitely recommend this place, for the price, service, and atmosphere, it's wonderful!

Hidden Jewel - Amazing Service. From the moment you enter the building, you feel as if you left the hustle and bustle of the wild city behind you. The lobby of the building is a great introduction to the spa itself. I came here for a day of relaxation and left feeling completely rejuvenated. The entire staff is warm and friendly. I highly recommend a facial and massage combo as the best deal in the city. I did not try a manacure but will certainly be back.
