AMAZING!!!!

I NEVER!!! give a thumbs up to any dentist but this place is AMAZING!!!! No one is more afraid of the dentist than me but I was so relaxed and comfortable with them that I let them remove a tooth will I was AWAKE!!!! anyone that knows me, knows, this is unheard of. I'm the type to run or start swinging.

Joseph Zelig, D.D.S., Nargiz Schmidt, D.D.S and staff are VERY!!!! professional, courteous, friendly and they will NOT!!!! judge you.

The bad news, they come with a heavy price tag but you get top of the line treatment.

As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for"

Above and Beyond

I usually hate going to the dentist, but when I arrived at Smile in the City I was immediately greeted by three of the nicest dental assistants/receptionists you could ask for. Katie, Danielle, and Melissa were very friendly and extremely personable.

The above and beyond dental experience continued as Dr. Leva met me with a great personality and gave me a thorough and painless (unlike usual) dental exam. Dr. Leva was able to notice and fix a few other problems that resulted from previous dentists I had gone to, including an old filling and a root canal that was not properly capped.

Overall, I was more than pleased with Dr. Leva, his assistants (Katie, Danielle, and Melissa), as well as the facilities at Smile in the City. I will undoubtedly continue to use Dr. Leva and Smile in the City as my dental practice of choice.

Gum graft with no pain.

I needed a gum graft on two teeth. I am from Brooklyn, and my regular dentist recommended a periodontist in Brooklyn. I went there to have a graft done for one of my teeth. I had a bad experience: The doctor had no bedside manner. And he worked at breakneck speed, causing me great discomfort.

I vowed to not go back there. But the problem was I needed a second gum graft for my other tooth.

I looked online, and found that Smile in the City had amazing reviews. I decided to give them a try.

What a difference! I went in for a consultation, and everyone was very friendly and professional. Dr. Zelig talked with me about my tooth, and explained exactly what he was going to do for my procedure. He explained to me that he was NOT going to carve skin from the top of my mouth for the graft (what a relief, as that was the worst part of my other procedure). He was going to take it from a different area that would not be as painful. He also told me he would use a laser, which would cause less discomfort.

The procedure went great! Dr. Zelig was gentle, and kept me informed of his progress as he worked.

My recovery time was much quicker than my previous procedure, and the fact that he did not cut into the roof of my mouth made eating after the procedure so much easier.

I would definitely recommend Smile in the City.

I am not the type of person who writes reviews, but I am so grateful to Dr. Schmidt for helping me smile again. I've always had a terrible fear of dentists, and as a result, I neglected my teeth. I am a successful person, but knowing that my mouth was in horrible condition was like a heavy weight on my mind and interfered with my quality of life. I found Dr. schmidt through the recommendation of a colleague, so I went for a consultation. The office is beautiful and clean. The staff is friendly and efficient. My treatment consisted of several implants and many crowns, but the effect it has had on my life is beyond words. I consider Dr. Schmidt to be a friend but I also have a tremendous amount of respect for her professionalism and ability to change lives. Thank You Dr. Schmidt,
