In Short
Located in a bank vault dating back to the early 1900s, and boasting two 35-ton steel doors, Trinity Place flips the script on "putting your money where your mouth is." Wall Street interns rehearse future takeovers in the front bar's oversized red-leather banquets, while the chandeliers and secluded nooks of the dining room sate their bosses. Power-deal chow includes upscale versions of pub grub, a smattering of Euro dishes, and a few curveballs, like a Lobster BLT, to keep players on their toes.

I went here two weeks ago with my friend for a birthday. It was easily one of the best, if not THE best, meals I've ever had. If you do go, please get the oysters. It is all that people have raved about and more. I recommend to anyone.

Went here last night and was very disappinted! The food was below average and most of the clientele seemed to be out-of-towners who would be impressed by the "bank vault". Real New Yorkers wouldn't set foot in this place. Sadly, it seems the financial district doesn't have any non-cheesy, touristy, bad food spots... Leave this place alone and go grab a hot dog at Grays Papaya, the food is better there! And I tried the lobster bisque and it was waaay too salty and tasted really fishy...NOT GOOD! Take my advice, skip this place!!!!!! I think the good reviews are from people who work there or the owners posing as regular customers.

The food here is expensive, the portions are small, and it's not even that good. The service was slow, we had to keep asking our waitperson to come over. If you want fine dining, this is not the place to go. Bar scene seemed like more of their specialty.
