In Short – Bright pink and orange hues dominate the small restaurant, one of few inventive lunchtime destinations on this stretch of 9th Avenue. The "burgers" in the name means not just beef, but turkey, salmon, chicken, mushroom and veggie--with the option of 14 different toppings including cheese, vegetarian chili and double-thick bacon. A basket of fries can be had unadorned or with cheese and chili. No surprise that for dessert, patrons choose from six different cupcakes.

Forget Magnolia....!

I stumbled upon this joint when trying to find the B&H Camera store...... Well, I'm so grateful.

The name was intruiging so in I went. I was a bit put off at first at the bland interior but then the display of cupcakes at the back caught my eye! All sorts of wonderful flavours and combinations... As I was going to a friend's for dinner that evening I bought six. We had such fun cutting and tasting and comparing.

These are most definitley the best cupcakes I have ever tasted and worth crossing town for .....

I was the only customer in the store so I had the full attention of the lady behind the counter who was so sweet and pleasant to me.

I can't comment on anything else as I only bought cupcakes, but the really were a treat....

Blend Burgers

The name itself should have explained that this place lacks some serious creativity but I walked in anyway due to my midday hunger. I ordered a Turkey burger with Pepper Jack Cheese.

The burger is on the small side and it is just blend. Turkey pattie is slightly dry and tiny and the seasoning is just average. I could get a much bigger and better Turkey Burger at Paul's Burger Joint on St. Marks.

Also ordered the sweet potato fries and they were alright. They were not very crunchy.

best burger ever!!! Plus the service was so sweet,,we came in with five people at noon and the waitress was very nice put tables together even though she had other people to take care of. she was busy so the lady in front was nice enough to take the time to tell us what the veggie burger is made of theicicng on different cupckes and that ther was a milkshake special, we had a great meal. i hope we tiped enough, we are all kind of hard up so sorry to the waitstaff we only left 4 bucks sorry!!

Huge insect in our drink, horrible service!

The food is mediocre the service is just HORRIBLE. We ordered lemonades and pizza. I had always stuck to the burger in the past (ordered "to go" 2 times before), so I wanted to try something else that they offer. They took a while to get the lemonades to us and when the drinks arrived my friend's had a HUGE insect floating in her drink! That is pretty unappetizing in itself, but to be fair we thought that perhaps the insect flew in because the doors were open, and not the alternative- that their sanitary habits are disgusting. Anyway, it just went downhill from there. We told our waitress and she didn't even flinch. She just asked if we wanted another lemonade. What? We asked for bottled water... she brought tap. The pizza was laughable. I could get better just about ANYWHERE in NYC! Awful sauce, awful crust, awful taste. I ordered a type of pizza that is supposed to have arugula and radicchio that had NO arugula/radicchio on it- it had neither. The plain lettuce that DID end up on the pizza had dressing on it... it was a bad combination that was not stipulated on the menu. My friend's pizza indicated it had tomato sauce according to the menu, but came with no tomato sauce. What kind of business are they running? After the bad food, the lack of service (she never came by again after dropping off the pizzas), we were ready to go. Of course, they ended up charging us for 2 lemonades even though we didn't drink 2 lemonades because of the insect experience. I told her about the "error" and she just snatched the check and hand wrote "total minus 3 dollars." I love trying new foods and different places and I'm certainly not a frequent complainer, but this place is not worth it. We left no tip and got out of there. You've been warned.
