Love/ Hate. Some of the bouncers are complete megalomaniacs! My friend got thrown out for "looking at me the wrong way". WHAT THE HELL?!? Some nights it's a lot of fun, and some nights... well. I'd rather be anywhere else. It's a total 50/50. Good luck.

alright bar, terrible staff. i read a lot of these reviews about the hostile staff memebers and thought- well it cant be that bad... boy was i wrong! i personally had no problems but witnessed several altercations take place between patrons and the bouncer- even patron and the batender- how does a BARTENDER get into a fight with bar goers? the music and atmosphere is alright, however and IF i happended to be in the area and decided that i was really parched at the moment i may give this house of cretans a try- but enter at your own risk!

welcome to the jungle- completely barbaric staff, stay away!. if you read all the other reviews, youll see that they basically echo the same sentiments as mine- the bouncers and owner were exteemly obnoxious and malignant , not very shy about roughing people up for no good reason- im glad they didnt put their hands on me! those guys were like 300 pounds each!!

Disgusted. Disgusted. The bouncers and owner are on a serious power trip and do not respect their customers. Let's keep in mind that the CUSTOMERS are the ones who pay the bills and keep your business running. They forcefully & when I mean forcefully (put in a headlock, drop kicked, shoved) out customers this past weekend regardless if you were a guy or girl, They are animals that to say the least might need to step away from the steroids. Will never go back & hope no one does as well.

HORRIBLE. I WISH there was a HATE button. Absolutely awful. Everyone from the owner to the bouncers were the poorest excuses for human beings and needless to say you could not pay me enough to go back to this place.

Sitting at a table halloween night, after easily dropping over 600$, a man comes over to our table and starts mopping, hitting us in the legs and telling us to get the "f*** out of the way." After responding jokingly back, "hey its alright were almost done give us a minute" to prevent a dramatic situation, we thought that was that. Two huge black men come and grab my boyfriend and throw him out of the club by the neck. Then they come back for my guy friend and his girlfriend. I grab our stuff and run downstairs to coat check.

Not over... Now, the coat check girl shuts the door and is back there with a guy. Another guy comes and says "shes busy in there. You can get your coat another time." Waited 30 minutes and still no coat.

STILL NOT OVER. My friend realizes that after finally getting her coat back, her camera is stolen out of the jacket pocket. She attempts to made it back inside and the bouncer kicks her in the chest and she goes flying on the curb. Seconds later, the bouncer does the same to her boyfriend, which was immediately followed by the bouncer grabbing an innocent kid by the throat telling him to "get the f*** out of his club."

The owner came out, laughed in our faces, and dared us to call the cops. This place is currently under investigation and a heavy lawsuit.

DO NOT GO HERE. IF U WANT TO BE CHOKED, KICKED AND STOLEN FROM, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.

Good Times. Came to Tonic with a group of friends for dinner and drinks. Its your typical pub food, which was good. People and bartenders were all very friendly, rooftop had awesome ambience and music was good. Only compliant is the selection of the happy hour drinks and the happy hours did not apply to the rooftop. All-in-all a good time with good friends.

GO HERE IF U LIKE GETTING RIPPED OFF. I wish i could give negative stars to this place. Not for the music or the decor but for the service. We went out for a friends birthday party and went to the rooftop and ordered a bottle. We indicated that we would like to split the bill between cash and card. The waitress brought me the bill and asked me to sign for my portion on the card. End of story? NOT BY A LONGSHOT.

Turns out that she charged us the entire amount of the bill then decided that somehow the mistake would magically go away and charged me again for my portion. She didnt even have the courtesy to tell me about the mistake so that I could make arrangments so that my bank account would not go negative. I did not find out until the next day when it was already too late. To add insult to injury the owner is being a jackass and not returning my calls and the according to management they dont process returns directly. So now im stuck with a negative balance and 175 in overdraft charges until my banks fraud department settles the dispute.

Also, the waitress charged us 46 for 4 shots when we got the same shots at 6 for 48. Doesnt add up.

Long story short go find a better place where the service is better and the waitresses arent stupid and the owner isnt a jackass.

love. I love going to tonic. I am a huge fan of the music videos that play on the TVs all night. The bar tenders are awesome. Definitely a great place to go with friends.
