loud and crowded, great rooftop

went there last thurs for my friend's bday. there was a good crowd for a thursday night. we couldn't get a table so we had to order from the bar, which was better on the first floor than the second. one bartender who seemed like he didn't know what he was doing made our drinks wrong and then refused to even try to fix them, but the tall blonde girl was really nice about it and made sure we were taken care of, so it was okay. she even gave us a round of "birthday cake" shots for my friend.

overall, the crowd was a little too jersey for me, but we had a good time. would prob go back on a night when its less packed.

Good until the end

So today a family member and i went into tonic. We had a waitress name Andrea who seemed sweet in the begining. She made us feel welcome and gave me a compliment on my earrings, anyway. Later when my family member and i were finished we asked for the check, once she gave it to us i used my gift card that i got from Tonic to pay, I didn't have any big bills on me all i had was three dollars so i called her over gave her the three dollars, the only money i had on me to her i said "I'm sorry i can't give more but here this is all i have, i'm sorry". She said that my three dollars was "Unacceptable and that she at least makes twenty to thirty dollars in tips". So being the nice person that i am i gave her my gift card for her to try to take twenty dollars out of there and when she couldn't she came back and slightly threw my card to the table and said nastily "I can't take the money out so...." and just walks away. I got up to leave and i didn't even want to see her face because she was rude for saying what she said. She is caucasian with green eyes and short, i thought she was nice but when things didn't go her way she turned into a green eyed monster, even though i still have money on my card i am never going back there again because of her, thanks a lot andrea.

Great place for a group

I went there with some friends the other night and our bartender, Conor McCartan, was awesome!! Very friendly and great service! He treated us well...we will be back!
