The Scene – An Aussie beach party has washed up on the Lower East Side, where laid-back locals settle in at tall bar tables amid photo murals of Sydney's favorite beach. Videos of dudes riding giant waves and a breezy open facade conjure a casual, shoreside vibe. – – The Food – Orders are placed via a tick-box menu, and must-be-marked items include peppery bloody mary oyster shooters, light, tasty lettuce wraps topped with crab and drizzled with mango dressing, or any of the fantastically fresh fish flown in from Australia and New Zealand. You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for. The price is cheap and so is the food. The included bloody mary or mimosa burns on the way down like cheap liquor should. The crab cake benedict doesn't really have a lot of flavor, but at least it's offered. If you're in a bind and need a brunch spot this would do, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.
- Pros: Cheap
Delightful staff, great drink specials
by socialbuttafly at Citysearch
The staff here is so friendly and nice! They have a lot of fun drink and food specials (toss the boss, 2 for 1, supersize your drinks, and $10 shark steaks on Sundays), and the food was very fresh and delicious. It's an unpretentious crowd and we got great, quick service. Someone else said the portions were small and the food was overpriced, but I was full after my meal (and I eat a lot! LOL) and they have a Beach Blanket special where you get an entree, a glass of wine and dessert for $20. Seriously, it can't get any cheaper than that in Manhattan.
- Pros: Friendly staff, great value, good food
- Cons: Can't think of any
I love unlimited mimosas!
by luvnyc401 at Citysearch
I love this place! $15 gets you a good, filling meal and all the mimosas/screwdrivers u can drink! Service is extremely friendly and its designed as a cool, Aussie beach. Wait can get really long depending on what time u go- helpful hint- they take reservations for 6 or more. I think u can sneak them for less though. They don't really rush u, but if u REALLY wanna take advantage of the unlimited part I say their brother restaurant Sunburnt Cow is a little better.
- Pros: 15 bucks all u can drink, and a meal!
- Cons: After 1 the wait can be long
