  1. I'm very skeptical about trying new places for a massage, but the price was exceptionally reasonable and they made a point of remembering my name, which was a nice touch.

What happened..............

by jtormo at Citysearch

I enjoy going to Vogue spa only because of Wendy. Wendy gives great massages, manicures and pedicures. But in the last couple of months service hasn't been good because Wendy is rushing to try and attend to other clients and mainly because the other employees are totally lost and do not have a clue how to work without her managing. I have had other employee members interrupt my massages and bikini waxes by opening the door without knocking or saying excuse me and abruptly bursting in to ask Wendy a question. This really upsets me because I go there for relaxation and to have 100% service but due to other staff members Wendy has to constantly rush to manage other things. I use to go there every two weeks and I haven't been there is 3 months because I'm not happy with the service anymore.

  • Pros: Wendy!
  • Cons: Rushes on everything

Don't waste your time & money

Agree not consistant service. My first time servive was excellent, so decided to go back. My 2nd & last time was horrible. I did waxing and Mani & Pedi; the waxing was not uncomplete so I had to go to other spa to finish up!!! And Mani & Pedi took forever and didn't last long. I will never go back; There are so many places to have satisfied service; don't waste your time & money!!!

Dont expect consistent service

by hopebeach at Citysearch

I used to be a good customer at this neighborhood salon, however a recent visit changed my opinion of them and their service.

Not only did my manicure come out looking like 5 year old did, but I had to wait 15 minutes to get my toes polished because they "misplaced" my color.

The worst part was the lower leg wax. She missed my entire knee and would not even touch the back, stating that I did not have any hair there. I am now in the brigh light of my office and trust me there is hair there!

When I called the manager to complain, he was rude and would not listen. As I am extremely busy, I am unable to make it in for 1 week and all he offered was to redo everything at that time. I can't tell you how embaressed I am to attend an important meeting with this manicure.

I will no longer be a customer at this salon!!!

  • Pros: great prices for mani/pedi
  • Cons: inconsistent quality/ horrible customer service

Great traditional Chinese massage

by pacificbloei at Citysearch

I usually go to Super Magic Fingers on the UWS, but I was in the area and decided to give this place a try. Had a phenomenal massage-Mimi paid attention to my trouble spots and was really conscientious. It's definitely the most thorough massage I have had in a while. Highly recommend it!

  • Pros: quality of the service was amazing
  • Cons: ticking kitchen timer was a bit of a distraction

Excellent massage, ask for Wendy

by bjmcity at Citysearch

I'm very skeptical about trying new places for a massage, but the price was exceptionally reasonable and they made a point of remembering my name, which was a nice touch. I went for the 60min, but ended up getting the 90min, and it was still priced better than any 90minute massage. Wendy adjusted her pressure to how I liked it (high pressure - deep tissue) and stretched my neck, arms and legs for an overall healthy-body experience. Thanks.
