Great out door area to watch the sports. I was here last night for a few drinks after work. The place bumping with good looking girls and a great crowd. The happy hour scene here is really amazing. They have great drink specials and great food. The burgers might be some of the best in the city. We arrived here at around 6pm and stayed till a little after 9pm. We were enjoying the great weather on the large patio and also got to watch the yankee game. I would definitely come here again when the weather is nice out.

A great time - time and time again!. My girlfriends and I came across Overlook a few months ago, and have since gone back every week. It?s precisely what we?ve been searching for ? a great neighborhood bar with good music, good people, good happy hour specials, good food (the fried ravioli is simply out of this world), and good service. Everyone here seems to go out of their way to make sure that the customers are comfortable and having a good time: from the manager providing additional seating when there were no chairs left, to the busboy referring to us by name, to the owner offering to transform my leftover matzo into matzo pizza during Passover so that I, too, could have something tasty to eat! We simply love this place and you will too !!!

Long loooong wait times!. Nice patio with beautiful sun...unfortunately the service was so slow, my friend and I had to leave without even having our meals! We were still waiting for our burgers after over 1 hour ...with no indication of when our meals would arrive. Service was friendly but the explanation we received for the delay was that one of our burgers was asked to be cooked "well done". We probably will never know if the belgian fries we ordered were crispy well done after an hour of cooking, as we would definitely not return here.

Love this Place. I love everything about the OverLook, from the Tuesday night karaoke, to the dope patio on the 2nd floor. This is more than just a bar. It is a nice bar. The food is fresh and prepared well and I have never ever gotten sick there. Moreover, I think they have some of the BEST French Fries in the city. Think Pommes Frites downtown, you won't be disappointed. While the happy hour is a little too early for most working folks, it is 4 hours long. So perhaps a late lunch on a friday and a few martinis then back to work? I like the lively atmosphere, the waitstaff is always friendly and the bathrooms are clean. Management really knows how to cater to different crowds. The long bar has lots of prime real estate and the bartenders are good looking. You can't go wrong at the Overlook, I wish I lived in that neighborhood just so I'd have a great neighborhood bar. Se La Vie. Also great for private parties.

Should be called "Burgers R Us". Their burgers are among the best in the city. Very appropriately priced for a midtown venue. Drink specials are great too.

Lovely!!!. I love that bar. It has been crowdy, cause everybody in the neighbourhood foud out that it's there! It is not overlooked anymore. I don't like to see bad reviews and I don't believe them, cause I have never been served poorly. Staff is friendly and they show their appreciation to returning cutomers. They even remember my name and believe me, it doesn't mean that I am there all the time.

great happy hour and really good food!!!!!. THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!!! I work in the area and frequent the overlook regularly. Their food is great

(very good and creative lunch specials) and their drink prices are in line for Manhattan. They do have daily drink specials and a 2 for 1 happy hour till 6pm. The spot gets really busy sometimes so that may explain some of the service difficulties, but the atmosphere/outdoor deck/ and great food more than make up for it

Worst food and weak drinks. Went here on a thursday night at a recommendation of my coworkers. The fries and mayonnaise managed to keep me in bed for the next 3 days- I have no idea what was wrong with it. The drinks were weak, especially during "happy hour." Waitstaff was overall uninterested and rude. So so many better places to go in midtown.

Lovely Bar. You guys must be lunatics! Overlook is a great bar. I've been going there for a few months, love the atmosphere, drinks are good, never got sick (looove bufger bites) and staff always treats me very well. Perhaps you should think of your own attitude first! I mean, what?s wrong with older people playing darts in a bar?.... If you have a problem with that, you shouldn?t be hanging out in the bars but search help cause you obviously have issues. And then? with an attitude like that, I don?t blame anyone for being rude to you. Service only reflects your OWN attitude. All I can say is that Overlook is a great bar, and don?t go there if you?re cheap and want to eat or drink for $3.
