FRIDAY NIGHT KARAOKE THURSDAY NIGHT LIVE MUSIC. I WENT ABOUT A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO FOR THE FIRST TIME IT WAS ON A FRIDAY NIGHT AND THE PLACE WAS PACKED I WAS SURE I WAS GONNA GET GREAT FOOD. I HAD THE PENNE A LA VODKA IT WAS AMAZING IT WAS SO GOOD, MY FATHER HAD THE SEAFOOD SALAD HE LOVED IT AND MY MOTHER HAD A CHICKEN PARM, THE PRICES WERE GREAT THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND THERE WAS KARAOKE. THE MUSIC WAS FANTASTIC AND THE SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL, THE OWNER CAME TO OUR TABLE AND SPOKE TO US FOR A WHILE AND THE HOSTESS CAME VARIOUS TIMES TO CHECK UP. SINCE THEN WEVE BEEN GOING ALMOST EVERY OTHER FRIDAY FOR KARAOKE AND EVERY OTHER THURSDAY FOR LIVE MUSIC. ITS MY NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT I LOVE IT.
Great Place, Great Prices. I live in Woodside and my friends and I went here for dinner for the first time the other night. The hostess and waiter were great, and the owner came over to see how we were doing. The food was great. I had the baked clams for an appetizer and they were the best I have had anywhere. The Penne ala Vodka was also amazing. We will definitely be back for more!
Great Pasta and Wine Selection. Went there on the first weekend it opened (considering there isn't a decent Italian restaurant in the Sunnyside/Woodside/Jackson Heights area) and were amazingly suprised --- when we asked the waiter if there was an antipasto plate, he answered, no --- then the owner and chef came out 5 minutes later with a complimentary plate with apologies that it hadn't been on the menu! Since then, we've been back numerous times and have been extremely pleased with the food. The skirt steak, and Veal Sirvino are amazing. I, nor anyone I have dined with, has ever had an unpleasant experience here. It's nice to have a place like this in the area.
price is right but thats about it..avoid until they iron out the kinks. Tried a local italian chophouse in woodside for the first time.the hostess and server were very nice but the service was slow despite the place being nearly empty on a friday night.since they are an italian chophouse we decided to try a meat dish and italian pasta dish after having our soggy ceasar salads. My date ..she tried the seafood pasta dish which had the smell of border line fresh fish and the pasta was way beyond al dente...my vinagar porkchops didnt fair much better..a mouth full of vinagar is what i got... i think i will wait until sirvinos irons out the kinks which they should have after 3 month in business....
