Fantastic Party!. The party I threw for my husband’s 50th birthday was a terrific success, and that’s chiefly because I chose to work with Eat Drink & Be Merry. I felt completely supported by their staff from the start, and was pleased that they addressed all of my questions during the planning stages with great speed and expertise. The site itself (The Speakeasy Room) was lovely—we had around 60 people and they fit quite comfortably.

I can’t say enough for the people who worked the party itself, especially the party manager and our bartender. The party manager was in friendly-yet-unobtrusive control the entire evening, made sure that we had everything we had requested, and even anticipated needs that we hadn’t thought of ourselves.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eat, Drink & Be Merry to anyone who need help putting a party together.

Perfection. I recently hosted a surprise birthday party at The Speakeasy. The Eat, Drink, & Be Merry service was recommended to me by a few people, and all the reviews I found were positive – I now know why. My party was not only easy to plan, but was executed flawlessly. The best part was – I didn’t have to lift a finger. I would recommend Eat, Drink, & Be Merry, and The Speakeasy to anyone without hesitation.

An all around wonderful experience. I want to thank everyone at Eat, Drink, & Be Merry, The Gin Mill, and The Speakeasy for helping me plan and carry out my boyfriend's birthday party. It was one of the most amazing parties I have ever been a part of. The staff was great, the drinks were readily available, and the accommodations were perfect. We all had a great time. My boyfriend told me numerous times the day after that this was the best birthday of his entire life. I couldn?t have asked for anything more. Thank you.

A Rare Find!. I recently had a birthday party at the Speakesy, and was totally blown away. From the initial contact with the party planners, via a google search for private party rooms in NYC,.......to saying goodbye to our party manager that evening, I was completely impressed! The space is cool and beautiful at the same time, and the staff, management and music were amazing and professional. The drinks, food, and service were better than I have sen in a while, and the price was not to be believed! I would definitely do another event with Eat Drink and Be Merry, and at the same location no less. Go for it!

Amazing party room. I had my brother bachelor party at the Speakeasy! The party planners at Eat, Drink, and Be Merry were awesome. They made planning this party so easy. My brother had an incredible time and we will definitely use their service again.

Great Room. Great room for a party!!! The service was excellent. Friendly staff, tasty food and plenty of drinks made our event one to remember. Cool room with old world charm, chandeliers, fireplace, wood floors create a nice atmosphere. 4 flat screens to watch the game or video, added to the night, as well as having access to use our I-pod through the sound system made for the perfect mix. The event planners @ EDBM were very user friendly, and made sure no detail was left out. I would highly recommend this space and their service.

30th Birthday. I had my 30th birthday party here, and it is a FANTASTIC party space. They give you your own room, your own bartender, music, catered food -- it's amazing. I had like 70 people show up and everyone raved about it. The service was excellent. I can't think of anything bad to say.... It's tough to find this kind of thing in NYC, so put this place in your address book. Good luck! And thanks!
