Awesome 25th Birthday. I had my birthday party this past weekend, 5/2/09, it was AMAZING. My party manager, was awesome and VERY helpful. She kept track of the time and kept things moving smoothly. The food was great and many people commented on how lovely the space was. I was worried about the amount of seats for 50-60 people, but things turned out great and seating was never an issue. At both the beginning and end of the party, the staff helped with decorations and hooked up my iPod to the sound system. They kept checking in to make sure we were happy with how things were going. I would recommend this space to anyone looking for an affordable private party :)

Your own private Bar. I just had my best friends bachelor party at this hidden bar! It was a totally awsome experience! The party planners at Eat Drink And Be Merry are the best! I had many options-all of which sounded great. The Oak Cellar At Jake's Dilemma was the perfect send off to my buddy. The staff, drinks, service and food was amazing and flawless. The entertainment was great as well. i would highly reccomend...why go somewhere else when you can't beat the price?

Fantastic Private Party Room!. I go to school in the area and all of my friends wanted to get together and celebrate the end of classes. It was extremely easy and pleasurable to work with the planners. They set up drink specials and everyone paid their own way, so I didn't have to worry about collecting money from friends and being stiffed out of cash. The room had a private bar, TV's and I got to play DJ and hooked up MY iPod. They were able to quickly and happily answer all of my questions and concerns. It is hard to throw a party when you can't physically be at the venue beforehand, but the company took care of all the details. The bartender was FANTASTIC, and the workers were great. I can't wait to do it again!!

Best Bachelor Party Room. So I did my brother's bachelor party here, and I can't tell you how awesome it was. The whole thing. The room was perfect. The entertainment they helped me find rocked. And the whole process was super easy. They have girls on staff who do nothing but help you plan your party. What can I say? If you are planning a bachelor party call these guys... They also told me about a cool package with a limo and dinner and entertainment that sounded cool, but we couldn't do it. Anyway, good luck and do yourself a favor and use this room.

Exceded my expectations.. I held a party at the Oak Cellar a few weeks ago. We had an amazing time. All the guests commented on how delicious the food was and how efficient the party manager and the entire staff was. Loved planning this party with Eat, Drink, and Be Merry. They were very professional and a delight to deal with. Highly recommend them.

Awesome Event. Good times had by all. The space was great for a private party. Only a good experience from start to finish. Great food and drinks provided by a very friendly staff that took care of all our needs. Booking the event was easy with Eat Drink and Be Merry, I was not looking forward to being in charge, the party went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend this space and their service, as I have done a few parties with them.

This is the best party room in NYC. I had a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend. It could not have gone any better than it did. The staff was accommodating to every request I had. They called me a couple of days before the party to go over the details of the surprise and it went off with out a hitch. We ordered food for the party and it was great. It was hot, it kept coming and it really was good. Everyone commented on how great the food was. The bartender was very friendly and no one was kept waiting for a drink. We had our own security at the door to ensure there were no people in the room that were not supposed to be there. We were able to bring an ipod and play our own music which really was a huge bonus. The manager was really professional and he went out of his way to make this a night to remember. I will be having my next party in the Oak Cellar as will many of my guests who could not stop talking about what a great time they had.
