“like this place: easy, relatively affordable, great location, and really good food.”
“chocolate drinks are served in a unique ritual.”
“They also have great coffee.”
“I've only had the veggie burger off their food menu, which was great, but just the smells in this place is enough to go there.”
“The huge pipes of chocolate are exciting and the menu full of chocolate treats is mind-boggling.”
“have come to realize that good service usually comes with good costumer in the first place.”
“We will definitely be back and will bring relatives, friends and turn others on to this great resteraunt.”
“Hearing this, an owner jumped up from his table where he was chatting (I had seen him sitting there) - I explained what was going on (some of us had drinks, some of us had drinks and food, some of us had just food, etc..)- Within three minutes all of ou”
“and the food is rather delicious, a bit overpriced, but thats new york right?”

To be honest, I kind of hate Max Brenner New York. But if you have kids, you probably need to go there. Everything in the place is made of chocolate; there's even a chocolate pizza. It's not the best chocolate you'll ever have, but you'll never find so many forms under one roof.
im in love!.
great place!!! gret food!!!
BUT
plz, give a better training to the wait stuff!!! in half an hour i was sitting there, 5 diff people came to me asking the same thing + i noticed how they were lookng at each other, cause they didn't know whose table it was and who is suppose to be a server......
anyways
u need to try it out!
Perfect for a Weekend Brunch!. This is Willy Wonka realized. I love to come here with my boyfriend for dessert or meet up with my girlfriends for a lazy weekend brunch!
My chocolate love!!!!!.
If you really wanna get a good dose of chocolate - it's a right place for you!!! You can either buy small pieces of diff kinds of choco candy or you can take your time, relax and try anything from the menu that is related to chocolate ( there is no point to go for lunch to a chocolateplace).
The variety of hot chocolate is huge as well as deserts.
The whole place feels comfortable. The music is always...inspiring and makes you wanna dance :-)
The prices are completely reasonable!
The only thing - every time I go there, the staff is some kind of lost, wondering around not looking at what's happening on the tables..
chocolate heaven. I like there the chocolate pizza, the crapes and the fondue. I am sure that everything else there is just amazing but there is so much dessert and so little stomach space :))) Love this place and I am very sad that they closed the location in my favorite neighborhood in St.Marks Place :( It was a great place for people watching and stuff but hey there is always this one and the one at Union Sq. Highly recommended for desserts!
Chocoholic Heaven!. This is true chocoholic heaven! Aside from the obvious nutella crepes, brazilian mocha martinis, and hot chocolates, you can still get your chocolate fix through the most unsuspecting food items. Be sure to try the waffle fries dusted with chili and cocoa power, as well as the beer battered onion rings with dark chocolate ranch dressing! The creative plating makes each dish a surprise, and keeps me coming back.
My hips are expanding!. My boyfriend took me here for our "date night." He got a big kiss for it. The environment is fantastic and interesting and of course, the chocolate. I had the banana split latte...mmmmmm, so good! And the real food is great too. I had a burger and he had a quesedilla, both very good and very filling. The wait staff is nice but not very attentive and we were packed in there like pickles! But, that's every place in NYC for you.
Chocolate Lovers Unite. I absolutely love this place. I have been here at least 5 times, if not more. Personally, I've never had a bad experience. My dad had a burger there and they put cheese on it when he asked for no cheese and they took it right back and made him a brand new burger. The server was very nice about it. So it really wasn't a problem. I love the decor, the smell, the food (dinner dishes or dessert) - both are great! My only con is the tight seating but I've had many birthdays here and will continue to do so.
GRossSSSSSSSS. NOTHING IT TASTED LIKE HOBO@@@ DONT GO HERE IF U RISK UR LIFE LOSER> GO AWAY> THIS IS GROSS>
If I Could Go Here Every Day and Not Get Fat...... :).
I first went to Max Brenner's in Israel. I think I had so many sweets that I thought I was going to throwup! The plan was to eat lunch there and then go to the beach- that changed quickly when I realized I would probably be harpooned upon setting foot onto the sand!
When I got home from Israel, I immediately looked on the Max Brenner's website to find out what other locations they had. I was so happy when I found that they had restaurants in NY!!! Needless to say, I've been to them multiple times since then!
My favorite dessert, which they have since done away with, was called the Chocolate Mess. Like it's title suggests, it's a mess of chocolate cake, icecream, whipped cream, sprinkles, little pieces of chocolate, etc, etc.
Their chocolate is amazing and I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone! I'm sure kids would get a kick out of the place (pipes over your head with chocolate, big mixers with melted chocolate, huge chocolate bars everywhere!)
Still better chocolate places in the city.
I heard a lot about Max Brenners so I decided to go, but I didnt think it was as good as personal favorite, my Chocolate Bar... still the best chocolate and desserts in town!!
