Tips for Moonflower Spa

Best Facials I've Ever Had. I tried a facial at Moonflower for Spa week many years ago and they are the best I've ever been to.

I have very oily & congested skin and I leave here totally clean & clear.

Extractions are pretty painless and more thorough than anyplace I've ever been before or since.

I refuse to get a facial elsewhere.

Yuko is wonderful.

Wonderful place. I was very amazed with this place as soon as I walked in. The candlelights everywhere, the serene feeling was great! I came for spa week for a facial. it was extremely relaxing and the lady who performed it was wonderful as well with many helpful ideas and concerns. When i walked out of this building, i was surprised i was in NYC. it seemed like another world in there. I would definitely come back here!

wonderful find!. I went to Moonflower for my first facial ever during spa week. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and Yuko patiently talked me through my facial and answered all my questions. I left feeling relaxed and pampered and my skin has never looked better!

Excellent Facial, Yuko is wonderful. I enjoyed a 90 minute Deep Pore Cleansing Facial on the SpaWeek promotion with Yuko, who is my new most favorite aesthetician. As others here have said, she soothingly explained every step and asked questions about my skin and previous experience before beginning. The environment within the spa is very relaxing, with soft music, candles, and staff who whisper to keep noise down! I have one suggestion about decoration: they might consider putting some of the lovely material they have covering their air ducts as curtains over the windows. The view within the spa is peaceful, looking out to office buildings across the street not so much. I will certainly be back to this spa for another facial, spaweek discount or not. I walked in with a disaster for a face, and walked out feeling like a million dollars. Extractions never hurt so little!

Highly recommended. I tried this spa for spaweek. I found the waiting area to be very relaxing and deco also to be very nice.

Even though spa is located in busy midtown, once I entered the spa I felt like I was in a retreat.

Facialist, Yuko was really excellent. Every step was explained to me. I hate going for a facial in some spas and have the facialist pushing for me to have extra stuff done for additional fee (especially Bliss!!!)

There was none of that hear. I can never go out without makeup but since my facial, I've been out 2 different days without any foundation and my skin really looks radiant and even. I'm so happy I discovered this spa and definitely coming back for regular facials here. I really recommend this spa to anyone.

Great service, affordable!. I have had a facial, massage and reflexology. Each time I have been to the spa, I tried a different person. Consistently, the service was wonderful, and the individual performing the facial/massage informed me what she was doing, what products were being used. While the Spa itself may not look as attractive as others in Manhattan, the price point is very reasonable for the service. Also, the Spa is always quiet so it has a relaxing feeling, rather than going to a Spa where it's more of a "hustle and bustle".

Editorial Review. Spa with a Japanese aesthetic offers facials, microdermabrasion and other rejuvenating treatments.

a hidden gem. I'm so glad I discovered Moonflower, in particular their friendly and knowledgeable facialist Yuko. All treatments I've had there have been very good, and the spa itself is clean and beautiful. I've enjoyed this place a lot more and gotten better facials there than at some of the bigger names in the city. There's absolutely no sales pressure, although they do carry some great products. I recommend this place very highly.
