great place, love it love it. it was my mother who first recommended that i get my hair cut here, with a guy named manny (off on tues, i believe). i was a bit skeptical at first because as an asian female, i've gotten my hair cut at more than my share of asian salons and they were all either terrible or sub-par. she commented on his skill and attention to detail, and at $28, who could refuse? so i went in, and got my bra-strap long hair cut to a chin length bob (which i'm SUPER particular about, since it's so short). manny did a wonderful job, using only scissors, none of those razors or shearing things that a lot of other places use, and just kept going back and forth, checking for uneven areas, errors, etc. he is now officially my permanent hairdresser, and i've even brought friends and my bf in to get their hair cut with him as well. he's very genuine and really takes care of his clients' hair, you can just tell he enjoys his job. i believe he's also a co-owner of the salon as well

Great Price- too much opinion. I've been to see Nikki three times. Each time he became more opinionated and quite frankly the last time he was rude. I came very close to walking out. I brought a picture and showed it to him, asking for a haircut. I wanted to go blonder, as well. He flat out refused to do the haircut, and told me he wanted to do something else. I was so taken aback by his attitude, that I tried persuasion. I should have just been rude right back. The highlights were fantastic, although he talked me into not going blonde, and I thought that maybe giving in to that would persuade him to give me the cut I had dreamed of having for weeks. He finally "agreed" to give it to me, but the cut looked nothing like the picture, and when I told him that, he simply waved his hand, and said he couldn't do it. I argued with him for a while, before getting him to cut a bit more off the back, and then gave up, paid and left.

Although, the price was great, and the work that was done was good, the attitude that came with it will ensure I don't go back for another cut. I might go back for color. Ultimately, he didn't give me what I wanted, and I found another hairstylist who did.

The best Hair Salon in Chinatown. I have been there for 3 years to get my hair cut. They can make a good layer for my hair.

I have a lot of compliments for a lot of people. They keep asking "where do you usually have your hair cut/"
